Magach 3 also has a new engine and M60 transmission, which is quite a substantial change.

Tier 1-5 There’s nothing really. The Merkava and Magach lines should have been U.S.A. In the air force, on the A4M line and IAI Kfir and IAI Lavi, which is truly unique. The French and British fighter jets and tanks used by Israel could have been GE.

Actually I might have read it wrong. The Magach 3 is the Israeli modification. The Magach 5 is the M48A5 with ERA.

Actually, that would make it a Magach 5, it’s a Magach three, so it’s probably either an M48A1 or A3 turret with the Israeli style “low profile” cupola.
