Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

Ah, so nonsensical takes it is then.
Germany for EU tech tree here we come.

Go to the F15J thread to make sure but I believe it lacked the equipment for ARH until MSIP

Dunno man, Austria was a rather important part of the Third Reich, doesn’t really matter that they don’t add much. Germany is pretty well armed already anyways

I just want a stabilized AMX-13 derivative.

The most tanks (tiger, panthers) got build in austria in ww2. Would be weird to see a full austrian tree/ subtree outside of germany for that reason

Yea, I took a look there and wasn’t sure. I also checked other common sources online.

I’d imagine it couldn’t just because AIM-120s came after F-15C pre-MSIP, but I don’t know if they were aware of it and made provisions when it was ready or something like that.

Canada can too. (best of all the dominions we have left to add)

Depending on how it’s done it could also take an ANZAC sub-tree(tho at the same time could easily be made without needing one. But this is Gaijin I have a feeling that won’t be the case)

Yea Canada and Australia will be just between the US and UK

not quite, they said they will be put where the vehicles fit, as example the proposed KF41 australia version would go to germany

How far would you say we are from the update itself?

If we’re talking about the F-35 vs Yak-141, they were both designed independently and neither ended up influencing the other, it’s common to hear claims, but the only thaing Lockheed ever bought from Yak was flight Data, the blueprints and Patent for the F-35 VTOL system was already designed and ready. Much of the F-35 was inspired by past use VTOL concept planes. Hince why the internals of the F-35 uses a Lift fan instead of the engine lift from the yak 38 and 141

I’m aware. It’s still an AMX-13 derivative.
Especially one Germany doesn’t need.

The design for the F-35 swivel came from an old Convair design actually. Believe it or not, convergent thought is a common thaing…

There are the Pandur I and II APC, and ASCOD IFV.
