They are upgrading their old block 40/50s to 70
I still think China should also get their VT-4.
The VT-5 was just brought up to show that they have more powerful export tanks, which was what the comment I replied to stated. I wasn’t just looking at MBTs as the statement seemed to be about export tanks in general

the F16V or know as the F16C block 70/72 came into US service.

Block 70 is 4.5 gen equivalent
So properly not next update
It have AESA Radar, extra fuel pods and can carry more missiles.
VT-5 would be good to see for China.
Hopefully it isn’t given the bad transmission and depression treatment that seems stereotypical.

I never said any Block before the 50, I only said the block 60 to the 72…
