Then what about WW2? Russia and Germany would be on same team at the start becuase they were allies. But then enemy. Would France fight on the side of Germany becuase they occupied them? Same with Russia before they push them back?
Its possible, but probably more likely to have token vehicles added to the Swedish tree.
And that will probably be the case for most nations that exist and werent exactly happy about the whole USSR thing. Mostly a case of practicality

The person who made this screenshot imagined that these sub-tabs would count as separate nations, but that would be matchmaker hell.
Personally I don’t think it’d be an issue to have Russian and Ukrainian tanks share a team, just as China and Japan or forbidden Germany and Israel can share one, so long as lineups don’t mix I think a lot of the controversy regarding some of these nations could be avoided.
It can be a hint to Romania, they’ve probably just stolen some American plane.
I can’t stomach the thought of Polish F-16 or K-2 Black Panther in a USSR lineup.
I have the same thing with Czechoslovakian vehicles. But same with Polish one.

My opinion in the matter is self defeating.
I’d only seriously play the USSR if they got NATO compatible vehicles, but they shouldn’t get NATO compatible vehicles because they already have enough to be added without them and they can get their own tree.
Example being the T-84 that can use either 125mm or 120mm.
Also this example shows only post-USSR states, Poland wouldn’t be one of them.
I didn’t mean it this way. You might be thinking of teams and matching nations together in a battle.
My objection is straight up putting UKR/PL vehicles in a lineup with Russian ones.

That’s the entire point of this suggestion: you would avoid this.
It would be USSR + Russia or USSR + Ukraine, but not USSR + both
Honestly i was almost ready for France to be at some BR on both side in RB (at a time it was something logical…Now it’s just a mess of unhistorical fights (WW2 USA Germany and Japan Against UK, France and other? Like, comon…)), Vichy France against FFL, would have been fun.
Problem is Gaijin dont care. We can see that with Moderna and Praga. Like Moderna is event vehicle which remove posibility to see a 30mm Moderna in future if Czechoslovakia come as a TT and will only hae the 20mm moderna.
And Praga? Not only like i said, they had 0 things to do with it, but they didn’t even needed it in SPAA line at all. They already have a BTR with 23mm guns that easily do the role of AA on those BRs.

What Gaijin does is beyond any of our control, but I hardly think it is a bad thing to think of ways the game could be improved in the future.
At the very least it would share insight between community members.
