my main problem is that I was still in the process of Spading the regular MiG-29 when the Dev stream dropped the G and I didn’t continue it yet simply because I don’t see a reason for it anymore

Well adding a new missile or two to existing jets with 1-3 new ones isn’t a ton of content and the vast majority of the new content could very well be for rank 8 ground.

It’s still a contractor and a company, which Smin has said will not be in game. Either its part of the country or its not in game. EPTS just doesn’t fit the bill
Also their Gripen cannot mount weapons, and is a trainer.

Smin was referring to an F-16 that is owned by a company that has nothing to do with the state when he said that, and the Yak-141 was never mounted with radar, IRST, HMD, and a few other things, so a vehicle not having something is no longer a valid argument for why it can’t get it in game.
Wasn’t that a 39D? I did see a lot of people saying that those trainer 39Ds don’t have internal guns.
Having one without a gun and with AIM-9Ls and AIM-120Bs would be much better than a Tornado with AMRAAMs and AIM-9Ms.
The difference is: Yak is a combat aircraft that had all the systems ready for implimentation as well as design documents to show how it goes together.
EPTS is a trainer. It has no missiles or systems to fight. It lacks the wiring entirely.

Noone wants Britian to be viable more than me, but EPTS isnt even remotely close to being a viable option. You’d have better luck convincing them of adding an RAF F-18…

And saying that ETPS is a private company will not change the fact that it is run by the MoD and thus is in fact not a private company.
