The CSP would likely get AIM-9Ms.
Gripen is confirmed, as well as a new top tier jet for Britian. The only real candidates are ARH capable

I would be perfectly fine with only a Tornado getting Fox-3s until the March update.

F.3 CSP wont be too great, if they go and give ARHs to better platforms
cuz last years winter update gimmick was rank 8 jets.
plus we are moving so fast rn. F-15’s and F-18s can still use Sparrows for example- early flankers are R27 busses.
it just makes no sense to throw ARH’s in rn imo.

I have the MiG-29G but have been more interested in German ground because of the new Leopard 2 coming, however if the ICE is added, I’m going right back to air.
I have to agree with this. If ARH missiles were to mostly be added to existing platforms (Italian AV-8B+, J-8F, maybe Yak-141 etc) with only a couple new vehicles (US AV-8B, F-4F ICE, Sea harrier etc) than rank VIII ground should still be very much possible.
The F-16C bl 50 and MiG-29SMT seem to have been added in preparation for them, so it makes sense for them to come in what we know to be a large update.
And that’s where Gaijin logic comes in.
Instead of going for unique opinions, like a Chinese J10, F-CK-1, Israeli Lavi or French Mirage 4000, they usually take the path of least resistance, copy and paste existing things all around War Thunder tech-trees.
Some nations don’t have capable top-tier aircraft? Well, F-15 for you and for you, Su-27 here and there.

Yeah but gripen c is confirmed and without them it gets no bvr weaponry unless snail decides to be inaccurate again.

I have it too but I’m not really interested enough in it as it’s best Missile and only selling point comes stock
To my knowledge, the JAS39A can use RB71s, however we know it to be a C that is coming.
That said, Smin said Britian is getting a new jet. CSP isnt a new jet but just new rails and software updates. No new airframe or radar so it doesn’t fit the description. The current working theory is that it’s Gripen C from SAAF, BAe Hawk 200, CF-18 from Canada, F/A-18A or B from Australia or something dreadful like an Indian MIG29

AMRAAM on Biggen and Gripen without Fox 3 is possible now
Smin also said the game wasn’t ready for r73 on fighters, and less than 3 weeks later we got them on the smt. Even though he works for gaijin he’s so intentionally misleading that I take what he says with a grain of salt.
honestly i dont see the hype about the Mig29G either, the R73 arent that good, i am having a harder time then i did with the normal mig 29 because the meta shifted, besides that might have gotten rusty after i focused on ground for quite a while again
