It could be a decent way to introduce IRIS-Ts some time down the line on a less capable platform, however.
just like CAS is IMO needed to keep Ground RB interesting I think Subs are an Important thing to add to Higher rank Naval as they spice up the gameplay and prevent endless Batteship sieges while giving destroyers sth to hunt
It can use guided bombs. ECR can use anything the IDS can (except for the guns)
2 IRIS-T and some HARM but no good Ground ordenance makes it a Perfect candidate for both ARM and IRIS-T introduction
We haven’t had submarines in normal battles, so you can’t know that.
If ARHs come, I have a tingling in my gut that says ECM & separated flares & chaff are possible

Like I’ve been saying for years. How in God’s name are submarines supposed to do that? Spawn in at the normal spawnpoint and you travel at 6 knots underwater. The match will end before you make it to the first capture point. There is a reason they weren’t used for this purpose until after the war. WW2 submarines are just too slow.
But what about sailing on the surface you may be wondering? Okay, 12 knots, maybe you’ll make it within torpedo range. But you’re on the surface, where I’m going to blow you out of the water because I mashed X and a box appeared around you.
They are not going to work without significant gameplay changes. But you guys want to play subs? Sure, go ahead, more kills on enemy ships for me I guess.

they could have seperate spawns closer to the center of the map just like Heavy and Light fleet have diffrent spawns

And on the big circle domination maps which is most common at top tier where teams on both sides spawn around the rim of it?
I like the idea of trains protecting some of the ground spawns
More targets in general would really spice up gameplay and make it more than just team deathmatch with capture points.
