Because aircraft should not be split into early and late where there wasn’t an early and late in real life, and as I said, the entire point of the -5F was MICAs.

I mean, if we’re looking at domestic planes, it’s either the J-10 or just a bunch of Chinese flankers. Some cool Taiwanese jets have been passed too developers, but these arnt too insane either. Meanwhile the US and USSR still have quiet a few fighter jets too look forward too, with a lot of variants. Obviously when you look at variants china still is looking better than other nations, but the only jet china can look forward too getting any time in the future is either going too be a J-10 or J-11

It doesn’t help the situation that the -5F in game is actually a -9 (export -5F Mk 2 that was sold to the UAE) with incorrect A2A loadouts (the radar can’t guide R.530s of any kind).

Ah, alright, didn’t realise it’s a in a fictional state currently, I suppose the 5 Mk 2 would be a BR step above the 5F. That full BR gap is gonna be a necessary evil then, as the 5D RMV wouldn’t be able to carry magics either

As the end of the day, we are not Gaijin and do not speak for it, so we can’t know what will happen. I’ve made by preference known, you’ve made yours known, and we’ll just have to wait and see what Gaijin decides to do.
