If you were talking about those 34 seconds or what reload, that is not war time reload, that is pre-modification reload which has ready rack in their turret. Actually gajin reduces 10 seconds from historical reload time of Penssylvania and Nevada class now.
US battleships were never best 14’’ in the world. Even at the WW I after Royal navy officers evaluate US fleet come to GB, they send it to Home defence fleet because US ships were inferior to those of Royal Navy
We can’t call five 6.3~7.0 battleships plus one 7.0 battlecruiser ‘few’ in the tech tree. USSR still lefts Stalingrad(which is already in the file) and Izmail left as a adequate VI Rank ships.
For GB, only two 6.3 dreadnought, one 6.7 super dreadnought and one battlecuriser in 7.0 which is notorious for shot gun. I can’t call this a good line up. GB already should have at least one more 6.7 super dreadnought, one more 7.0 fast battleship. Currently GB is even worse than Italy in making line-up in my personal opinion.
That’s not exactly how I was counting it. I was going based on how many battleships the US had vs how many are in-game. In which case the UK is worst off but the US is right behind them. And I was also going from 6.0 to 7.0 since that’s how the BRs work, a 7.0 will see a 6.0 and 6.0 is the lowest a battleship/battlecruiser can be. Ikoma/Kurama excluded; they’re only battlecruisers in name.
My original point still stands. The US and UK still have newer battleships that can be added before 16-inch guns show up. Every other nation can only get incomplete ships (Izmail, Mackensen, or backfill showing up too late Konig, Hindenburg).
edit: I completely forgot about France, they NEED very badly Dunkerque and another Bretagne, but Gaijin has also forgotten about them so w/e ig lmao
France has always had a colonial navy instead of a wartime navy. There’s no need to invest the resources in battleships if you can spread out a bunch of cruisers and destroyers. The Bretagne, Normandie, Dunkerques, and Richelieus are otherwise the only ships which is enough if we get high tier cruisers mixed in like the Colbert or De Grasse.
Because they are incomplete??? They weren’t finished? Some of them can only have hypothetical stats? Some of them had design changes after construction started? I really don’t think we should just throw them in everywhere when we don’t have to either.
Yes, that’s cool and all, but in terms of gameplay I really don’t think we’re breaking French naval doctrine to add a second ship of the Bretagne class or either ship of the Dunkerque class.
That’s perfectly fine. It more of just an in game problem, where every variation of a class is needed. But it would make sense to not hold back any of the post war cruisers.
The De Grasse would essentially make most of the map a no-fly zone and rip apart anything that isn’t a battleship.
In 2.31.1.39 Gaijin hid all nation flags (the 500 GE ones), except if you already had them. The change might be reverted before going live (2.31.1.37), but if not, just a heads-up if you want one.
At the same time, if they do this like Clash of Clans did, they might yoink the flags from those who bought it as well.
