How does the sam work? Is it similar to Type 81 i don’t see a radar unless it’s that dome thing in the middle.
Much better as tracker is inside irl and vehicle itself can track ‘blindfire’ search radar trailer

why is the radar om a weird frame like that?
Tracked Rapier is optically command-guided like the Stormer HVM, but doesn’t have a " search " channel. The range is better than that of Stormer, but not as good as the ADATS.

Freccia, Janus commander optical device.
PUMA, MELLS missile.
Ariete AMV, WAR/PSO addon armour.
Type 81(C), Tan-SAM active radar homing missile variant.

Technically the Type 81(c)'s radar missile doesn’t need a radar vehicle. It’s just not added because it’d be too strong at 10.0 right now (which in itself with IR missiles is too low).
Unless you mean as a new copy paste addition at a higher BR?

Would be cool if they tested this out by letting the swingfire deploy its targeting tripod separately from the vehicle.
Japan has 2 battlecruisers though? Kongo and Haruna. Technically 4 if you count Ikoma and Kurama.
Japan doesn’t have any other battlecruisers to add anyway. I guess Amagi, but the very notion of adding 16-inch guns has Gaijin shaking in their shoes, so she’s out of the question for a long time.
Ingame they are classed as battleships and as someone that isn’t much into naval I just took gaijins designations as accurate in that case
Their designations are sometimes whatever they find most convenient. Like, why is the F6F listed as a torpedo bomber? (and also why tf are the US and French ones rank 2 but the British one rank 3?)
But in this case Gaijin is correct, in that Japan did re-designate them as battleships in the '30s. But nobody outside of Japan who knew took this seriously because… well they’re obviously not battleships.

Projects that do not exceed the design stage.
Incomplete naval vehicles, whose hulls were launched.
Vehicles completed and put into service with subsequent updates that were planned but did not come to fruition.

Kronshtadt was unfortunately laid down (not like it would’ve worked if it was finished lmao), B-65 wasn’t however.
I think the rule is actually that a component specifically made for the ship has to have been made, but I can’t remember. But that would open the door for No.13 ;)
