When I made this clip a few days ago, the F-2s also had the same F-18 sound. I can test if the rest of the F-16s have the correct sound now when I get home.
They do not, already checked.

Not new on the dev server but probably is a fairly easy fix. Has annoyed me for ages that the zoom function is basically completely useless.

That’s the AN/ASG-34 and afaik it hasn’t been added so far because Gaijin (Gemini or whatev) couldn’t figure out how to make a fuel tank that doesn’t get jettisoned.

Except they did though, the CFTs in game are fuel tanks that don’t drop.

No. It’s an engine limitation surrounding additional sensors on pylons. Same reason you can’t have 2 targeting pods.
Is the IRST tank irl non-jettisonable?
Technically no but the same way a bomb rack is.
It’s considered a permanent fixture for the flight since it’s expensive
