Unfortunately that won’t help if your looking for the case of EMBT as they don’t want to believe it’s from the 2a7+ demonstrator but I can always try to dig up some stuff if you want

Gotta use the V key for something else, I guess

Can anyone recall when the GBU-31 was even added to WT? If it’s sufficiently long ago there may be enough information publicly out there now these days to be able to submit a bug report to get the DSU-33 removed from it come to think.

What are the update icons people have on their profiles for I’ve never understood that

I mean, the Model itself should speak for itself, looking as its Litarally a 2A7 Hull

They tend to believe that the 2HEL has a worse armor than the STRVs when they are the same…

Welcome in the Live of Leopard 2A7V, which has Armor of a 30 Years old 2A5 Prototyp

See that’s because the magical swedish composites

A 30 year old prototype of German origin* since yk they used the TVM max for it

I mean, now that ASM-3 Kais are air to air, it actually has quite a strong air to air loadout lowkey. 4 long range missiles, 6-4 medium range missiles, then 2 IR missiles; a fairly well rounded and capable loadout imo.

For the UK it was in inventory for Tornado and cleared with the GR.1-specific MACE lugs, but BL755 wasn’t used by Tornado during the Gulf War because it could only be used at low level. Low-level delivery over open desert wasn’t considered safe (especially after experiencing the initial Tornado strike missions with JP233)
On the original BL755, submunitions are dispensed on the basis of setting a time delay. So if you dropped it from medium altitude the submunitions would scatter much higher than the weapon was designed to be used at, and have an ineffective spread.
CBU-87 was adopted as a temporary measure because it has a ground proximity fuze so could be released from higher altitude and dispense at the correct height for the desired spread.
It was resolved in the mid/late 90s by fitting an RF proximity sensor to the weapon as RBL755

Germany still had BL-755 in inventory for Tornado into the mid/late 2000s, with the intent to retain them until Tornado retires.

I’ve no idea how long they have continued to retain them since then however, since the original OSD for Tornado was expected to be 2015-2018.

all this time i was thinking it was ok, now its seems so illogical, the 2A7 that is an upgrade over the 2A6EX Demo 2 andd TVM max has worse armor than them? but no as it seems the 2A6EX has also worse armor than the STRVs even if they use the exact same armour, either the Swedish armor is overperforming or Gajin has something against Germany and now Greece

not in the HEL tho

That’s because magical swedish composites. 🤷‍♀️ Somehow Sweden while having no industry to develop composites and the composites used by them were licensed produced from Germany somehow Sweden is special.

Same situation as on the EMBT

wanna see if they add the Leopard 2A5S in Israel as a squadron or something what armour will they give it

My question for this topic is, will we ever see it happen? Im not expecting it this update perhaps but could we see it in the future or is it seen as redundant?

Another case i would like clarifying is the hawk 200 and their mavs. At the minute they are put at 11.3 in ground due to having 4 mavs, could we maybe see this system added for them allowing us to bring only 2 and it being moved to 10.7 in ground so we have an actual reason to bring them over something like the f111c.

@MAUSWAFFE I did a funny

i wouldnt say im too bothered by heli mitl but gaijin needs to do 2 things for it to work. as it stands i can select a point on the map, send lmurs to that location, and theyll do the job for me without mitl even being required. and that all from cover. this is of course fugging bs for the GROUND rb AA player. because whereas the heli gets to go into hover mode, move one meter, land and reload, the aa only gets a single reload from their shitty ammo box thats unlikely to hold more missiles than a single heli anyways. and second, ive had them find targets on their own that werent even close to where i sent them. so we probably will see helis wiping half their own team on accident with this too

no the british 10.7 line up is doomed to have zero cas now lol
