finally it took me a bit but this is the max speed my bad it can do 2.45 not just 2.41 but take long time you need to fly at right altitude Tho not to low not to high

i was testing at around 11500m which should be a pretty good altitude for a high-altitude speed run so the mach 2.45 limit is definitely worth looking into
also ngl this is the first time i’ve genuinely liked an f15 cockpit the f-15ex is straight GAS 💀

have you tried flying in the stratosphere
also, just search on the bug report site. maybe it’s already made
and its accepted nice hope to see it fixed with the addition of some more presets.
i tried that actually, at 23000 meters and it kinda capped out at mach 1.6-8 ish

Well yeah there’s no air up there xD
(There is, just not enough to produce thrust meant to get you over)
past roughly 11500m around 38k ft the f15ex starts losing enough thrust that it actually begins to decelerate, while below that you’re still pretty much stuck around Mach 2.4 so 11500m seems to be the sweet spot for squeezing out its maximum speed of 2.45
yeah it loses crazy thrust if you go above 11500m which weird isnt f5ex calling is 50k ft 13km? something like that
yeah your right 2.45 at 11500 seems to be the max as the engines finally overheat, i think this is the first time ive seen oil warnings on something not called a harrier.

Well in that case slap the R-74M2 on the Su-30SM2 today, and call it a day, i’m sure that would be totally balanced and you wouldn’t whine about it
to be fair max ceiling doesnt imply best performance does it? so that makes sense
i think you are in a hotter map that’s why? in map i test didn’t overheat at all
