Yes that’s true. The speed and altitude that GE-129 does should be better, kinda like the F-16s in-game. But the performance differences in F-15EX and F-15E is wildly different than what you see on the F-16s which utilize the same engines, just because they have different channel losses right now.
the F-15 intakes let them get more thrust, maybe some channel loss adjustments could help on the low end but it should still be noticeably quicker once you actually start flying.
I’m not comparing the F-15 intakes to the F-16’s. I’m pointing out that the F-15E intake ingame has 20% channel loss compared to the F-15EX’s channel loss of 7.5% in-game, which means the F-15EX has way too much thrust compared with the F-15E.

I’d say there’s a chance but I doubt it.
People seem to forget that the only real upgrade you get is maybe rwr and better aero. I’d love to see it but in the end it doesn’t actually matter that much
Also just realized that while I am at the end of the US air tree I never even started the bombers. I’m at rank 1. Was really hoping it’d be below the GE for whatever reason but it isn’t

Not irrelevant at all, they fulfil different roles within the game and both are valuable additions to both GRB and NE lineups
Just wait for the Rafales to get Meteor, then the Rafale could get air superiority role over the F-15EX unless Gaijin fudges AIM-260 for F-15EX despite it not having it equipped irl yet.

They really opened pandoras box with adding the IA since it is quite literally a paper vehicle even if it’s being ordered for the future.
But I guess now it should be possible for other aircraft to be added which have clear plans for their equipment and avionics but haven’t flown. (F-15SE when Gaijin?)
