In terms of ingame modeling, the F-22 would be way easier to model than the F-35. The F-35’s systems and sensor fusion would require a lot of work so it would be more sensible to add the F-22 first while devs work behind the scene on the F-35’s systems until its ready.
Or they just dont add allat

That’s very much possible, but it wouldn’t be sensible. Would cripple the F-35 massively compared to historical performance.
We have EF and Raf that are severly gimped already soo
You think theyll model half of that? Were still waiting for all of that on the eft and rafale. I think getting the f-35 as a stealthy f18 counterpart for a majority of nations in game to allow gaijin some time to tweak stealth into the game is the best bet. Being able to fire 120ds at mach and mach 1.5 is a big differance.

Thing is though EF and Raf still dominated, F-35 coming without these systems would be severely dominated by the Su-57, F-22, and J-20 I’d suspect.
Hence why i think adding them in the update after is the best bet.
It always depends on how gaijin models the things tbh so you cant really tell
Like idt anyone was expecting the EX to be what it is currently FM wise
