Next event when?

i dont know if i missed anything but for the past 2 years now we have not gotten any special events in war thunder that where not copy and paste from past events. am i wrong or has warthunder been going downhill a lot for actual player events/updates where it changes the game or adds something new

the only remotly special was the KV-7 event which gave you tickets that in some livestream could have been chossen and given one IS-7 to somone only 7 people won anything

2 years is a bit of an exaggeration. 11 months ago they had the Mad Thunder: Rage and Loot! event. (Cant remember if thew submarine mode was a new one or had been used before). The year before that the Mobile Infantry event.

It’s about a month till the next april fools event so lets hope for a new and fun one! :)

Gaijin should make an event with Panther II and King Tiger 10.5 prizes.

Both the others? (i have been informed that the submarine event indeed was a repeat).

I don’t think i’ve seen a version of the other two i mentioned before.

I think he’s referring to other events. Like football or Halloween races, they don’t change for years. And the rest is even worse: “just discounts” and “play three battles and get decal +50% silver”.
April 1 is the only interesting event of the year.

and yes i do mean all the events so far even the April 1 have really just been a lot of copy and paste and kind of shocked that nobody is talking about it

I wouldnt say any of them have been copy/paste.

Even the two sub ones where different. Modern sub vs modern sub and ww2 sub vs ww2 ships

Im not sure what you are expecting for events because there is only so much you can do without going and coding a whole new game.

This is not correct, April 1 unique events. Where was the “copy and paste” at Mad Thunder or Mobile Infantry?

It’s been said many times, but it’s gaijin, they’re a little lazy.
