T-64B, same: same BR as T-72B despite being weaker and slower. Now, with the reload advantage, it will be a sidegrade instead of downgrade.
You want to put the T-64B to 10.3 instead of 10.0?
That M1128 example was just hilarious. It’s like round forgot that it needs to spall lol.
Bias is all around us.
Holy Jesus nevermind, I thought T-64B and T-72B were both 9.7, but now T-72B is 10.3 hahahah.
I didn’t remember that change.
Then T-64B shall become 10.0, I guess!
And yet some bias is more closely examined than others…
Did you look at this in a weapons system analysis done by a master gunner or did you just take this data from Warthunder?
Some examples are just skipped and handwaved as “funni mishaps” because it doesn’t fit their narrative, which is inherited from IRL most likely.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s still a bunch of BS to do with Russian MBTs (though most of it stems from the same problem as what NATO MBTs experience when they get shot at), but there are definitely other stuff from NATO MBTs that need to be fixed as well (the external fuel tanks always absorbing shots is so frustrating).
Of course, BS is widely spread out throughout tiers, nations and game modes, so getting Gaijin’d must be a fairly common occurrence.
I don’t think they’ll ever raise its BR outside of decompression - it’s probably the biggest cash cow for the snails in the Russian tech tree.
GPU overclocking / chip failure

Oh shi~! Stay where you are, they’re already coming for you.
Yeah, being able to buy an entire line-up that is highly effective is kinda insane
No, it’s just Warthunder.
NATO fuel tanks absorbing shots? Russian fuel tanks eat them, and spall for breakfast. Auto loaders regularly eat both shots and spall and magically protect armor from exploding. Hell, there’s a content creator video about the new event vehicle. Where he absolutely unloads into the auto loader and it does nothing, in the end he has to knock out the crew because the ammo refuses to explode.
Average Stalinium tank, forge in the pits of Stalingrad cooled witht he icy cold water of Leningrad and infused with the blood of Zhukov himself
Autoloaders need to have the shells in them actually modelled, not just “there’s potentially ammo in there and a hit has a chance to maybe explode it”. Because right now they’re a net benefit. Crew loss doesn’t negatively affect reload rates, they vanish spall, and they allow you to survive hits any other tank would’ve exploded from.
By the way, I’ve noticed the matchmaking lately. Because of the huge number of players who love to run the Soviet 10.3 setup, I often end up in matches where the Soviet team has several 10.3 players, while the opposing team has at most 10.0 or even 9.7.
Conveniently, the 11.3 Japanese line up that used to be their natural predator was mostly used up to 11.7. So Russian 10.3 Premium now is often pitted against 9.3 and rarely sees uptiers.
This is nothing new. I know this happens to Russian MBTs.
But the number of times Russian MBTs explode via fuel tank (which is a good thing) is almost the same amount of times German, French, or Japanese MBTs survive after I shoot them. External fuel tanks for NATO MBTs are far more frequent than for Russian or Chinese MBTs.
And so while Russian / Chinese fuel tanks can often eat spall and only sometimes explode, it’s never more than NATO external ones – because external ones don’t explode at all.
It seems like you focus on what’s wrong with the Russian MBTs but never focus on what’s wrong with the NATO MBTs.
