Proximity fuze rounds would be a great addition, especially against low, fast flying fighters and it would also provide great self defense capabilities against hostile missiles.

The trolling
Only for the sake of brevity because nothing really gets close to the F-16C other than Tornado GR.3 PGMs/Harrier GR.7 Thermal TGP+Mavs and UK usually gets matched with US, and France isn’t a thing at top tier anymore.
The biggest issue with the US ADATS is it’s inability to aim up fully, VT-1 platform with additional missiles sounds good to me.
Pantsir is very unserious, it’s also unique as a system as there’s not many direct competitors other than the Chinese FK-1000/2000. idk why ppl are suggesting IRIS-T platforms for other nations as a “competitor” and not more power creep.
So yeah, i don’t see an issue with the US getting a competitive top tier spaa.
Most nations have potent enough cas at top tier to need it. And there will occasionally be the US vs US match.
Like France at 10.3 allready gets CAS that is functionally untouchable to anything the US can throw at it with their higher BR spaa.
Arguing wether a system should be added here or not because x balance factors is mostly pointless. Not within our control. We suggest, gaijin makes the decision.
MIM-46 Mauler can be added after the Chaparral. Gaijin should move chaparral to 8.7 and add this to 9.3. I know in real life mauler couldn’t engage close targets but chaparral cant engage close targets either.
The ADATS is competitive tho, or it would be if the sight used the missiles elevation limits and not the limits of the 25mm
Is that a miniature model in the photo? Gets the point across but looks a bit funky
Nothing wrong with us getting more options :)
edit: no wonder you don’t like more options for the usa, as you play against them instead of with them.
Explains the hesitance.
Per the start of this thread its clear it has some shortcommings. Among them being spawn costs, and the missiles themselves not having good enough effective range. VT-1 fills the need just fine.
looks like a miniature model to me
Very unique and interesting looking vehicle
LAV-III.
Not Striker.
UK only(Tho it going to a Canadian tech-tree would be better). It’s a Canadian Vehicle.
UK only(Tho it going to a Canadian tech-tree would be better). It’s a Canadian Vehicle.
And it uses a US missile system mounted on a chassis that, out of all the countries in-game, the US is the only user of (LAV->Stryker).
If it goes to only one country, not both, it makes FAR more sense to go to the US. The MMEV has zero connections to Britain and shouldn’t be there, just like the M113 ADATS.
Either way, none of them need it and it doesn’t solve any problem because it never carried anything other than MIM-146 missile, the other pictures of the IRIS and rockets are fake.
The ADATS is Swiss.
That is not a reason to get Canada’s LAVs. Heck the the US should not get anything Canadian. They A.) don’t need it. B.) don’t have a clam.
Yes, it does it’s Canadian. Who has better ties to the UK and all vehicles of should be there first place.
(iirc) Its a joint US and Canada vehicle like the ADATs hence both.
The Multi-Mission Effects Vehicle is a Canadian-only project. The US has no part in it.
and it was to be built by “Oerlikon Contraves Canada” a Swiss company now owned by Rheinmetall or was it a branch of Rheinmetall? its info seems to contradict itself as I read it.
