Age is not a problem, we have systems from 2018. The cram hemmt was unveiled in 2008.
Active radar guided missiles with high maneuverability. They’re used on fighter jets too and they will come in next 1-2 updates.
Sorry, a bit too advanced. It is completely autonomous anyway.
But then what radar does it use, considering the vehicle itself doesn’t have any. Do the missiles have independent radars?
While it is completely autonomous, many spaa would also be completely autonomous and they weren’t given these features. Also, the system can be in real life, be used by a player. Lock a target up and give a firing command. Target go boom. So, it can be used in game by a user.
Doesn’t have independent radar :/
Block 2 of rim-162 has active radar homing but i’m not sure if they gave the kub block 1 or block 2. Block 1 would not work as it would need a radar to guide the missiles in (unless if the kub has a radar that i’m not seeing)
Amraams have independent radars.
Effective firing range Missile range:
30 km (NASAMS 2 / AMRAAM)
50 km (NASAMS 3 / AMRAAM-ER)
While the range is large, you don’t have a search radar and hostiles can notch these missiles if they are not too close, making counter play also possible, therefore the system would not be op. You would also have only 4 missiles before having to reload. System would not be op, but would be very effective in right hands.
no radars only heat seaking please
Why? Is that because you don’t like not being able to dodge a missile just by pressing the flare key once?
Not even gameplay at that point.
I could teach a monkey to press the flare button when seeing a missile…
Im guessing youre replying to a literal child…
Spoiler

Actual picture of him pressing the flare button (colorized)
Almost like the Pantsir was added way ahead of time and the Russians should’ve gotten a TOR missile launcher instead
