You drop in ripples, not serries. different settings.
you are not reading it right.
while in weapons selector, with ripple 8 on. there is no way for me to drop just one bomb. its automatically going to be 8 unless i change it.
so two options
in selector mode:
can choose missile, but cant (without changing settings in y menu or assigned buttons) drop both one bomb and ripple amount.
out of selector mode:
can’t choose missile, but can drop either one or serries of bombs as i choose.
there is currently no way to be able to BOTH choose missiles AND be able to drop just one OR serries with different assigned buttons.
That may be because you have no clue of how hard it is normally to use an aircraft,… but anyway, there is a keybing to immediatly quit the weapon selector, therefore, i don’t see why your problem is,…
If Weapon selector is your problem, then get rid of it,… don’t use it
If weapon selector is not the problem, but you don’t have a clue how such selector work IRL, then you’re complain in the void.
If you’re only problem is “muh i can’t spacebar to drop everything”,… then be smart,…
Most bases are destroyed by the same amount of bombs of same caliber,… therefore having the 1/2/4/8/16/S selector is useful as you can program it at takeoff,…
oh i know how hard it is.
yes there is. but that still does not solve my problem.
i want to be able to both select missiles, AND Choose one or many bombs WITHOUT having to turn on or off weapon selector every time.
oh i know exactly how they work. i’ve read the manuals.
that does not take away from the fact that WT is still foremost a game. they deviate from real life all the time to make it a more fun game to play.
still not my issue.
yes. but if you then have lets say 24 bombs, a base takes 10, you still have 4 left to drop elsewhere, then i would like the option to single drop those on AI ground in between bases. without having to leave selector and then enter selector again constantly. and if i leave selector to bomb ground then i cant choose missiles to defend myself att the same time.

Great,… there is an “if”,…
Just discovered this myself. Who thought it was a good idea to make this change for zero reason whatsoever? Absolutely asinine. And on the bug report site they just mark everything “not a bug” and give no explanation as to why it was changed. Good move Gaijin. /s
