since the new Spearhead update, i got a LOT more PL spikes than normal.
i play in a public match? PL
i play in a custom match? PL!
i play something else? PL!!!
and it’s not my problem cuz my PC is completely right and my Wi-Fi/Internet is so good i can skip 1h of a 4K video without lag or delay.
pls Gaijin fix ur servers, cuz it’s annoying to die by the ground or losing 10000m of height just cuz i have 97% PL and my ping goes from 160/280 (normal) to 340 or even 420.
personally haven’t noticed any lag spikes or PL and my internet is quite mid.
Check your task manager to see if any tasks are using your bandwidth when war thunder is running and try closing some background apps.
Yeah same, i’ve been getting random PL spikes even when everything else is fine, and only on NA servers.
i already checked and everything is fine, also i don’t use too much apps in the background, just YT and Spotify (both are usually off when in a match cuz i need to focus).
Well, lucky for you, Gaijin will release another “amazing” update which will fix some, but create new bugs and problems, so you won’t have to worry about your PL.
I agree with the PL, im getting a lot of PL after the update.
For me my ping has gone up +200 +300 all the time and in unplayable, interestingly the game according to task manager only seems to take around 150Kbps send and receive which is very weird. Every other game works perfectly fine.
im almost constantly at 400 ping when before it was around 100
