New T-34-85 (STP) Should NOT get BR-367

i mean 6.3 is the br it should be at (same as the t20), and personally i will be using the br 365 only because of the angle pen and insane tnt filling

The reload rate, 50cal, armor, and gun depression more than make up for the increase in mobility and angle pen.

What is wrong with you? 365 is a better shell anyway. It’s a slightly better Easy 8 and should be 6.0.
There are also many shells given to tanks even though they were not able to use them.
The STAB cuts off at 24 km/h, exactly like the 76 Sherman does. It’s in the code.

“This will ruin the 5.3-6.3 BR bracket”
???
How is this the problem when the 76 Jumbo or Easy 8 exist? (Which aren’t OP btw)

Ah yes the OP PT-76-57 in the big 2025, when the 35mm SPAA exist.
TO-55 should be 8.3 but is barely an offender due to the 8.0 MM and rarity of it.

It certainly does feel that way when playing against 6.0 germany lol.

The RoF doesn’t mean much without mobility.

The T20 is 6.3 without the armor oh the Jumbo.
Because it can be in positions too shoot at targets where the penetration and RoF matter a lot more.

The T20 has a 50 cal, a better reverse and a better ROF than the T-34 Stab.

The T-34 can’t use the same ambush positions as the T20 with its poor gun depression and reload rate is a big issue when you need to finish multiple enemies at once.

Well, that’s certainly true 🤔

But on a flat city map, it’s not going to be all that different.

The 85mm still has the edge in penetration and damage.

I think the T-34-85 with stab should be 6.0, and the 6.3 battlepass T-44 should be 6.0 too.

The mobility and shell of the T-34-85 balanced out with the gun depression, stab, 50.cal and reload of the M4A3 76W Sherman.
So the addition of the side-grade shell and stab would make sense to put it at 6.0

No, is very good and 6.3 is perfectly fine.

Why?

Is very good vehicle and his actual BR is perfect. Dont need any change.

It has nothing really to offer other than slightly better acceleration and slightly better turret armour over the T-34-85. I guess the ability to use side-grade ammo too.

On city maps the reverse speed will get it killed and not having a 50cal to track heavies sucks too

-8km/h is good enough. This isn’t the Panther 😅

It’s not compared to the Panther but the T20. The Panther can actually tank a hit.

I see.
I would probably take the T20 in most cases over the stab T-34-85, so that’s another reason why I think the stab T-34-85 should be 6.0, otherwise its DOA.

The Panther can tank hits, yes, but it really depends on what its facing ( whether it’s a full downtier or full uptier etc) and how good the enemy player is.

The Panthers armor still works because the AP ricochet angles match the Panthers UFP angle and the turret is still really trolly. The T-34 85 armor sucks even in a full downtier.

Panther UFP is not always an automatic ricochet, especially not for AP / APHE shells with caps ( decreases 100% likelihood of ricochet from 65 to 71 degrees) unless they purposefully angle their hull very well and the target is ~300m+ away, or if the Panther is on an incline.

The Panther turret is definitely trolly but good players can still penetrate and do damage fairly reliably. Cupola is also a pretty easy and reliable weakspot ( unless you use P2W bushes).

T-34-85 is not suppose to use its armour – even in a full downtier.
But if you must, you can just side-scrape with engine, which forces them to have to aim for the turret.

The UFP is especially strong against shells like the one of the M103 that don’t have a cap and it’s more likely to bounce than to penetrate but it even works against bigger capped shells like the T32s T41 or the IS tanks BR-471D. The protection analysis doesn’t tell the truth about APC and angles

That isn’t the point. A bad reverse speed is excusable if you can take a hit while getting back into cover. 8kph on the T-34 is really bad if it has to compete with the T20.
