Yeah, so add them together and you have the basic elements of a RTS. It’s not hard to piece that information together.
You have some bacon and some bread. Put them together. What do you get? A bacon sandwich.

It’s a nice idea for in a future we get a better rework on Simulator grounds with exclusive modes in massive maps. Instead of the same same Battle or Domination TDM we still have in game. The only thing SB is worth is the rewards.
The air of any sort is not ground. They have 2 different micro identities. Not a strong reason my guy, not a strong counterargument. It’s like claiming a donut from Krispy Creme is the same as a donut from Dunkin Donuts, yes they may be the same type of donut but they are not the same donut.
Neither of us has the greatest analogies however I think we both made our points. The guy wants this game to be something it isn’t. Want Infantry and APCs to go to an RTS game? WT isn’t that never was.
I think. It is more appropriate to provide supply vehicles for players who have exhausted their respawn points.
let them continue to stay in the battle and help the team.
This isn’t foxhole, this isn’t an RTS. Why do you people keep insisting this game should be something it is not?
It was because of this sentence…
Isn’t that good? What’s the harm? No need to provide any weapons to the supply vehicles, just allow them to replenish ammunition for the team.
This will increase camping and spawn killing
those supply vehicles don’t need to stay in the spawning grounds, they can go anywhere to support their teammates
Mate your intentions may seem good but you probably haven’t played long enough, supply vehicles would serve 0 purposes in a battle. They are easy kills and annoying liabilities for us. This game also isn’t an RTS(Real Time Strategy->Ex: Company Of Heroes 2, Star Wars Empire At War, and Men At War.
WT is not that game. Supply vehicles and infantry do not work in the game at all and no matter you saying “But” or “But they can help give u extra ammo or heal your allies” wouldn’t make a difference. If you’re running out of ammo then you likely had a limited supply however if you’re being smart even with those small amounts you often or not can make do with what you have till you die. Or reload on the capture point.
If you want to help and benefit your team use a light tank, armor car, or a truck with an AA Gun of any sort on the back.
But the idea of a supply truck just doesn’t work in War Thunder and would alienate those who play it and often or not alienating a community means a split, one side is right, and the other side is in the wrong. These types of splits are often what lead a game to fully shut down. If it isn’t shut down then new people would often feel like the game feels off and the community also feels off, a hostile environment/a self inflicted wound.
Imo instead of APCs maybe something like armored recovery tonks would be better seeing that they usually have more armor and may serve more purpose than just rearm and recrew ppls which ngl sound boring gameplay wise.
Maybe give them ability to drop ammo box, health crew member when nearby, scouting, much faster help repair time and/or the ability to recoup sp from dead teammate tanks. But still not very appealing gameplay ngl.
You can replace one with the other. it serves 0 purposes. Nothing you said makes any actual sense and are things comparable to an RTS Not a vehicular first and third-person combat shooter game.
Actually seems like a good idea and would allow vechals like the m113 to be added with its amphibious capability returned
It shouldn’t have been removed in the first place also this is not a good idea, once again, I’m going to repeat myself. War Thunder IS not a Real Time Strategy.
Those are two components that make up a 10000 component RTS. So no, that’s not how that works at all. Just because a car is in a game doesn’t doesn’t make it a racing game. Nothing I stated had to do with an RTS. So thanks for adding nothing to this conversation. Bye
Again, if that’s what you got out of it, then you missed the point all together. I said AT teams, not infantry. So you took something no one was talking about an in your own mind made it and issue. We already have stationary AI run gun in placements, not hard to say you can put an AT down, that runs itself.
And just like we’re stated before, it has nothing to do with real life. It adds a component to the game. You’re upset when someone brings ideas about a game that’s based on real things, and wants more capabilities in game.
How not? The components I’ve stated are already in game. So you’re upset about expanding features…. that are in game now. So you’re just being upset to be upset
That’s not what is being stated. You already have APCs, so I’m saying to add another function to them that help your team. I don’t get why that’s a hard concept for y’all to grasp. You aren’t commanding different units, aka one of the main things a RTS needs to be an RTS. You are in a tank, you get hit and lose and crew member, your teammate that’s in an apc drives up and just like buddy healing, transfers a new crew member over. I don’t get how I can break this down easier.
