New Scouting: Give the VEAK 40 back its Proxy Fuze

Orrrrr. Perhaps we could nerf the stupid ass drones to actually have realistic flight model and damage model? Instead of just throwing out historical accuracy for “balancing” something else that is also historically inaccurate?

There has been no concrete proof of the launcher being able to aim vertically, the ONLY movement i have personally seen is during the foldout to set it to position before launching. if you have any actual concrete proof of vertical aim i would be more than happy to be proven wrong and help you create a report for it.

Not a mechanic that is in game yet (and no, it’s not an optical tracker that other vehicles have and that is a mechanic in-game). I would however love for this mechanic (laser trigonometry calculation prediction tracking) to be added.

Untrue, The first mentioned Swedish trials with 40mm proxy was done the same summer that the VEAK 40 trials was scrapped (1964) and that source is even a bit questionable as they are only mentioned in passing used for testing an active protection system on planes ment to prematurely trigger proxy fuses. The first time where they appear in service is in the navy ammunition catalogue in 1975, the army didn’t get the 40mm proxy intill years after that.

This was a change for ALL leopards as there is a limiter in the FCS system that automatically lifts the barrel at that point, turning of that safety also disables the automatic stabilization and things of that nature. It can however be argued if that should be a thing modeled in the game or not in general and if yes it should be on all tanks that have it and not just some.

Yep, all spike missiles in-game has this issue, not just the CV90. I hope they will fix that at some point.
