Will we ever get the Kremlin battleship in war thunder it was a Russian design that had 457mm cannons it would be a good counter to Yamato?
Doesn’t the Sovetsky Soyuz already do that?

Soviet 457 mm never exist both gun and shell.
At least Soviet 406 mm has its gun and shell exist and Sovie 305 mm has its shell exist.
So basically no.

No because such a ship was never laid down and never made it past proposal.
The 40.6cms on the Soyuz are more than enough to deal with Yamato while its armor allows it to tank multiple 46cm salvos it has no reason being able to.

The prototype was tested or atleast what I have found of it they was going to have another country make them because America actually had 18inch or 457mm made and tested so yes the guns and shells existed

How can we be sure the 45.7s were for a ship and not actually a test for feasibility?
Like Montana-class battleships, this was never laid down, so that will be a big fat No.
You already have Sovetsky Soyuz, so forget about it and start looking forward to more new Cold War naval stuff.

I see a distinct lack of 45.7cm under russia.
And the 53cm gerat 36 never entered service.
The most you’ll get for battleships from russia are the other Pr23 sisters

@Nostalgistic Soviet 457 mm was only at consideration on late 1940s, when Soviet naval designers debating whether ship should be armed with 18’’ for total superiority or 16’’ for technical readiness.
When 16’’ was finally chosen as 18’’ ship would be so heavy for Soviet shipyards and ports to bear, not even the shell’s weight for 18’’ was decided.
So again, no it can’t. Maybe 16’’ version of Project 24 can be in game if Montana class comes to gamem but currently both USA and USSR don’t need such ships and Gaijin doesn’t consider them too.
We are still waiting for every nation to get a counter to the Soyuz. Only the US does with Iowa.
No one else does, and that includes Japan
