Unlike Kremlin and (as far as I know) Alsace, A-150 and Montana had parts built for them.
H39 was incomplete but was laid down. I know not of H40 to H42.
A-150 was accepted but Montana is in a very odd position in terms of Gaijin’s standards as the powerplant was later used for carriers and the guns used on the Iowas.
They have yet to add ships that weren’t built period and by their own current statements, verbatim: ‘We will not add ships that were not laid down and/or did not have components built for them’.
Which is why Montana itself is in such a tricky position and why Kremlin will never exist.
A secondary gun which was finally used for a destroyer and a standard powerplant which was finally put into a carrier are no specifically made components either, lol. Wishful thinking.
Which is why it’s in such an odd position to begin with; all of the equipment was repurposed for other ships and thus ‘can’t be proven’ to be for Monty.
It’s fine, rushia has plenty of tankers who like catching on fire. That’ll dry out any water damage, as long as they ask their neighbour nicely for a little help.
It’s a Russian ship, so if they want to add it, they will find a way. That’s my point.

How many things has Gaijin said they wouldn’t add, but they then went on to find themselves in the game? I’ve debated about this countless times with people on various discussion boards about this War Thunder. They won’t add XYZ thing and their main argument against it was “Gaijin said”. Then what happened?
Of course their stance can change but as it stands at this exact moment of this conversation, Gaijin will not add project ships that never saw any purpose built components (guns, powerplant, etc) - that can be identified for the particular ship - or was not laid down to any degree.
Everything else is fair game. Which is why Pr23 Sovetsky Soyuz, the Kronshtadt sisters, Gneisenau with her 38cm fit and the like are in the game.
There’s plenty of paper ships that deserve to see the digital light of day, if only for what they could bring to the table but as it stands, none of them are eligible based on Gaijin’s own ruling.
Neither could I. But there have been and continue to be quite a few.
Look, I’m not saying necessarily that they should add the Kremlin, as the OP of this thread has advocated. What I’m saying is that if they were to add it, which I think is a lot more likely than many imagine given Gaijin’s track record of ruling out things that would later find their way into the game, then I would only support it if other nations got a fair shake as well, with things like the Montana. That’s my point here.
