The only GARBAGE thing from the start of the event in April till its today’s variation is the servers. Supposedly they took care of that.
They are the same GARBAGE. Andeven if they make it the best thing ever existed in gaming, with the TRASH of a server is not worthy to spend a cent to develop it.
They have to fix the GARBAGE they call servers at some point.
After playing few matches, I must say that SPAA is still not balanced, especially the long range. S-300 can kill BLUFOR literally seconds after they take off from their own airfield, while REDFOR can just fly at 10 km alt basically uncontested and sling r-77-1’s down.
On top of that, there is really no need for every 2S6 on the map locking you as soon as you take off from the runway, shouldn’t that be fixed and SPAA’s should lock you only in their missile range? S300+2S6 combo makes BLUFOR RWR basically useless since you have threat beeping from literally every side and RWR is too cluttered to use.
But you have to be blessed with no clouds which is very rare at least for me
All you need is to put Aiming Point/Point of Interest in roughly the same county as S300 is, then you will spot it. Even through thinner clouds in IR.
I would love if it get reverted. I’m having a hard time to play the Nuclear Thunder without premium account, most times one kill cant pay-off the aircraft spawn (at 14.7)
Love getting crew lock for leaving battle that almost ended. Either let us choose if we want to join in progress or remove crew lock for such situations.
The issue here is not finding batteries, it’s putting an aimpoint onto targets. Because of the TGP limitation to 30km, you essentially have to either fiddle with it from well outside engagement range, or just do a pop up attack as you enter the 30km limit. I’ve tried this with JSOWs from 50km away, 7km high… then wondering why they just float down to the ground in lazy circles before even getting to SHORAD range.
Again, GBU-53/Spice250 with IR seeker have 100km lock range and as long as your hand can be steady for two seconds, you can point and click on S300 sites from afar. Pointing aircraft at the target greatly minimizes “drift”.
Also 7km alt is rather inadequate for any long range glide bombing. 11km would be minimum IMO.
Bruh, those aren’t on IR mode, they’re on GNSS mode. That’s how they’re able to target the ground instead of the launcher themselves. If they were, you’d be getting a crossed box when on target.
Welp apparently if the carrier gets hit once by the russians it starts listing and just makes you spawn in phased into the carrier…
Did it at 6 from 55.7. I do stand corrected on utilizing the default targeter view for batteries… but I suspect that’s more to do with all the S-300 trailers having the same profile as buildings/ships versus other AI vehicles.
SL respawn costs are very, very oppressive imo. It should be reduced by half if not more.
Yes
You need to set aim points on map and drop bombs without using tgp. Gnss ones at least.
Only issue is that you need someone to spot targets if you wish to toss bombs from outside aa range. Hence why I think we need recon aircraft for those tasks.
Also, has anybody else experienced some strange stuttering in late matches?
Only when nuke detonates nearby, otherwise it runs just fine for me.
Yea, I have no idea what it is though, but I’ve just randomly gotten freezes sometimes, it’s not very consistent and usually I only get one or none at all in a match. It’s very weird.
What br you playing?
