New prem for russia

Russian sources i looked trough say Moskit-23, not Zhuk. At least 23-98-1. 23-98-2 gets Moskit-21 in a pod alongside Sapphire-23 and 98-3 upgrades Sapphire-23 with DL channel so it can use R-77s.

I think 21 93 would be better as a premium, more ergonomic than 23 mld as no sweep wings double the cms and hms + pesa

Is Moskit 23 not a deritative of zhuk?

That’s… i don’t know, there’s barely any info because project wasn’t pursued. Only thing i found is some third party table with stats for it

copium in my head tells me that those little dots on the “dogtooth” looks suspiciously like antennas of L-150

Would that be OTF?

you need to decipher that for me, my english is not that good to understand all abbreviations

What otf mean?

oh, sorry. out of time frame, ie. if works on thing, in this case the prototype, stopped long before introduction of a different thing, in this case the L-150.

is r-60mk better than r-60

L-150 was also made in the 90s. So it is in the same timeframe.

L 150 existed in early 90s, so it definitely get it in terms of time frame. I just dk if it was actually meant to actually have it or not

R60mk is all aspect version of r60 which means it can get locks frontal aspect and it has better flare resistance

ok thanks

Yeah, no sources specify anything about RWR. Kh-31P can use L-150 data for targeting but it isn’t a direct requirenment for its use so you can’t draw a connection there

9-13S? If so should have R-77 as well

if its 13.0 it can have r-77s

i found this info that states that there was a proposal to cram Zhuk-M inside MiG-23-98

MiG-29 with R-77s will be instantly slammed to 13.3 where we already have SMT that has much much better radar and avionics.

yeah it should be able to carry the R-77 aswell but it was more just a limited loadout to make it a lower br and fit the gaijin pack prem criteria
