This is what RB needs, new game modes, with predefined configurations for each era
Honestly you should just quit now because this ONLY gets worse and will never be changed. After all, the only reason it’s there to begin with is to get people more inclined to making a purchase. Gaijin likes to tell you it’s to keep balance in check. They wouldn’t know a thing about balance and probably think it’s only definition is their bank account balance.

I cant say i blame him. When i am in my king tiger and i get blown up by an anti tank missile from the 1970s, it is incredibly stupid and rage inducing. 1940s tanks should not go up against anything from the 1960s or later

My advice as a paying player of 3 years time would be to either give up now or play but don’t spend.
You seem to have reached the point in the game where it falls apart which I am assuming is 6-7 BR where WW2 clashes badly with Post war and slide badly into a confusing semi fantasy world.
Trouble is half the player base don’t even know the difference and think its great. The BR is hard to notice when WW2 face WW2 but its hard to ignore when WW2 face 70s and 80s vehicles, whole game feels off.
So do what many of us have to do and stay at WW2 BR below 6 or maybe 7 .
I play mostly at 4.3 everygame.
If you do spend then buy premium time during the sales when its 50% off.
Six months ago I might have urged you to persevere because you will get better but the way the game is going, I cant say I will stick around much after my premium runs out, its in serious decline quality wise.
Winning and getting kills is a crime now it seems which is frustrating considering how I got slaughtered for the first year. Now I can hold my own Gaijin take everything I do to get kills and make sure I cant do it next update. I’m sure its the same for many. Find a good spot to get kills, then complaints come in and it’s gone a week later. Pointless playing really.
The problem with any purchase such as premiums, bushes, or crew skills is that you pay for an advantage(presumably) you get that then the non-payers complain and Gaijin nerf your purchase to the point its not worth a thing so you are cheated basically. Premiums can be raised in BR so they go from being worth having to just not being worth having.
So dont spend. Learn the game or leave
Stop crying start grinding. After a while you don’t notice uptier anymore anyway. You just find ways to kill anything +/- 1.0 around your vehicles. You lack understanding of weak points and tactics.

There is no weak points and tactics anymore, He might as well go now instead of wasting his time on map knowledge that will be redundant the following update.
BR Uptier is fine on a big map with space and sniping spots where you can hit an down tiered monster from the side but stuck is a small city map you are in big trouble. This is something Gaijin never considered.
I got 7 kills for zero lives lost yesterday in an up tier and I didn’t realise until after the game but it was Mozdok and I was able to use my brains and map knowledge to hit the 4.7 tanks with 3.7 Panzer IV from a flanking position and cover , how long before Gaijin take that map away or flatten it so you can no longer do that?
