I dont mean the tank. I mean ive payed for two months of premium membership.
And what in your expectation does premium member ship mean?
But tank premium or account premium dont give you a god mode …
if you’re just a target in battle, you shouldn’t spit at gaijin, but at the person between the chair and the keyboard.
I check your stats:
In RB ground: 0.37 kill / spawn. You spawn 3 times for 1 kill …
In SB ground: 0.24 kill / spawn. You spawn 4 times for 1 kill …
With your Strv 81 RB52, you spawn 351 times, die 307 times and … 167 kills … Even if the tank cost 2800 SL for repairs, you lost 2 tanks for 1 kill …
With your CV-90-30, you spawn 72 time, die 64 times for … 10 kills (with 1 plane) …
No surprise why you dont earn SL.
You want up too fast and you dont know the hight tier game mecanics …
Because you just are useless and dont know the game … SL are NOT real money and you dont need spend GE in SL if you know the game. If you need GE for purchase SL in hight tier battles, it is just because you dont understand the game. Return play in BR 2.7 with your Lago I and learn that parts of the game BEFORE up… And up PROGRESSIVELY…
You can buy ALL premium tanks, ALL premium planes, ALL premium boats, ALL premium helicopters, ALL time in premium account, if you dont learn the game, you will lost time, SL and FUN …
A new feature will be implemented for premium account: an “insurance” to prevent the player from losing SL through compensation in the event of negative income.
But if you continue play like you playing actualy, you dont earn any SL for purchase hight tiers tanks.
well you need to rethink because you are bieng unfair
no it isnt, in any way
you may need to temper your expectations in the future then, because that mindset wont help you with other things in real life
Not really. This is the concept of some mobile apps and games…and is usually explained as such.
Freemium games are a different concept. You can play for free, you have lots of content to explore and paying will either provide you PART of that content or SPEED UP progress. You cannot “buy the product”.
Both concepts exist and lots of examples of both are available.
I dont say i agree…BUT i personally “navigate” the concept as a F2P player…i dont expect to ever complete any game, but i rarely spend money on them…i enjoy the free parts and never expect to be a top player or own all the content.
Back in the days, we would buy a full game for 40EUR or such…and could play all the content…either offline or even online. Nowadays, we install and play for free…and some guys spend Hundreds or Thousands so a lot of us can keep playing for free…
AGAIN…dont say i like the concept…but apparently it works…
I dont really see HOW you were mislead…i assume that either 1)this is the first freemium game you play or 2) You are deliberately twisting the concept.
Feel free to indicate WHERE in the game info the description is wrong or misleading…
I seem to recall that BEFORE you buy premium membership you get a description of what you get with it…no?
https://store.gaijin.net/story.php?title=Premium-account-60-days-1
Premium account is a type of elite membership which provides a lot of bonuses:
- +100% RP in all game modes;*
- +50% Silver Lions for active actions in Random Battles;*
- +100% Silver Lions reward for battle time in Random Battles;*
- +50% Silver Lions reward in other game modes;*
- 4 decal slots.*
But not a god mode who magicly learn to him how to play at the game …
You pay money to shorten the grind, not skip it. And you cannot buy the skill gained in the process. At 9.0 there’s more experienced pilots flying, and it will be harder to win there. I would advice you to go trough the regular trees and learn to fly while enjoying the process.
oof, the worst match to have. Died twice, maybe got 1 kill or nothing then left and got defeated. This is the worst case scenario where you lose SL instead of earning. Just a very unlucky game. If your on a losing match and team is getting spawn camped, best not to spawn or you can try and take out the spawn campers quickly before spawn protection runs out. This is another reason why players in top tier leave the game after 1 death, they get spawn camped after spawning again etc…I blame this on map designs and helis. Also, you didn’t buy the game, you just bought premium with is technically a booster for progressing faster in tech tree and earning more SL/RP. If you keep dieing 2 to 3 times without any kills or 1 kill or 1 assist with 0 kills, guaranteed to lose SL. To fix this issue, literally have to learn the game mechanics and obtain the skills to become a better player, and only then you will make SL. Most games im in when I try, im top 4 because I learned though 9 years of experience. Played since 2014 on PS4, then switched to PC in 2016.
Sorry man, we are just giving you facts and how the game works. Your just basically a new player who jumped into a lions den by your own without the knowledge on how the economy works and how to carry games while enjoying them. Need to play rank 1 and learn the basics at this point, or watch youtube videos and see how they play. Up to you to accept this and learn or keep spending on Golden eagles to turn them into SL or maybe move to another game more fitting for you. idk how else to say it. Everyone here already gave you answers on how SL/premium works.
Welcome to War Thunder. Since you bought a top tier premium, those who have grinded their way to top tier now hate you and are looking at you like you cut to the front of the line at the gas station. You know nothing and are a detriment to your team. Low tier is there to teach you how to play the game and usually, but not always, let you fight against other new players.
If you want more modern tank combat, might I suggest picking up Gunner Heat PC?
This is simply not true, top tiers for ground vehicles are much easier than downtiers. On down tier you need to learn angling, weakspots, distance, spotting enemies behind bushes, snipers, the maps are terrible and also most of the players are seal clubbers around 4.5 you will see only level 100 player.
In the other hand, higher tiers you see mostly new players, it takes no skill to play modern tanks, specially premium ones, just press fire button and it’s done, doesn’t matter where you fire and how you fire. You also have thermals, stabilizer, rangefinder and many tools that ease the gameplay, despite the maps being much better than things like Ash River you are forced to play on low tier.
Same for planes, tell a beginner to boom and zoom a seal clubber on a F2G1 while they fly a Ta152 and see a disaster. Now take the same begginer and put him to press missile button in the Intruder with Aim 9L and let’s see where he is more successful.
You don’t understand the dynamic of the game, what you want you will only get if you spend thousands of dollars, so you will make millions of sl and progress very quick.
By paying premium in the current state of the game, this purchase only grants you the possibility of grinding, so now it is possible for you to grind the game, doesn’t mean easy or fast just possible.
If you spend nothing it’s actually impossible. That’s the dynamic of the game, we can only hope the grind rework gaijin has promised to us to take place so it’s going to be more doable, but for now you either wait for the update or enjoy the suffering as everybody else here.
I spent around 200$ the whole time I play and I’m on the same boat as you, that’s why we are seeing a flood of bots on all game modes, because the grind is so bad that people are making a fortune by selling bot accounts for people with no time to play, which is illegal but the blame is 100% on Gaijin.
How so?
Send them to a computer museum bro. There’s one in every country.
lol nope. War Thunder relies on expensive servers that must cost millions every month. You have to keep paying, sorry, snail’s rules. No full access for you sir. I’ve spent more than you but I was smart enough to experiment with the game and not buy a pack. Only subscriptions and some in-game things for the lols.
You need to be very good to play BR 9.0, I’ve played the game for about 2 years and I only play 6.3 at the highest.
Plz stop swearing on the forum AND STAY AWAY FROM TOP TIER, EVERYBODY HERE HATES IT!!!1
Try playing some different nations too, and turn off the auto-repair feature, it drains your SL after each match.
On the bottom right you’ll see a yellow envelope. There’s a lot of info in there. To see what was spent on repairs, check the ‘battles’ section and it will show repair cost for each battle. As I said above, turn off your automatic repairs. Unlock tanks for different countries. They will auto-repair, but the higher their rank the longer it will take. Tanks come with a limited number of free repairs, after that it will drain SL. Basic vehicles repair within a few hours, allowing you to play them 2-3 times a day without any repair cost. Try it.
Yes I see how predatory it is, but I am addicted. Try 7 days premium, it’s not as frustrating as committing to 3 months. Or grind the low rank vehicles for free.
People can come at me, but locking Rank 5 or 6+ behind some sort of game experience/qualification/player score, not necessarily tied to level or hours would fix a LOT of the current challenges associated with gameplay and all but eliminate the rampant rise of accounts of the more, uh, automated variety.
With as much as Gaijin loves their algorithms and statistics—I feel like implementing a water line would not be all that much of a challenge.
i think that when we have only 5 ranks and max premium T IV…
There is an active modding community for Falcon 4.0 keeping it competitive with DCS; better than DCS in some respects. People who aren’t paid a single penny for their work on BMS are doing things Eagle Dynamics struggles with. Gaijin could even learn a few things from that modding team. They could also learn a few things from the Steel Beasts Pro PE team especially when it comes to American crews not having British accents.
To tell you the truth I had the same feeling in the start when I started tanks, some players think that 300 hours are not enough for a player to become good but when I spent 300 hours grinding at planes I became a complete ace.One month ago I bought a premium aircraft to grind the American tech tree and I’m better than those who grinded to get jets.So try to become a more skilled player, watch some videos about how to gain SL and learn about the weak points of the tanks that you face at your battlrate.
SL is really just the means to implement player-punishing mechanics like repair costs, crew costs, and incentivize you to spend money. I can understand XP being required to unlock vehicles, train crews, and research modules; but at 2000+ hours, you sort of realize SL is entirely pointless.
Like man, I can remember when the B-29 had a repair cost of 33,000 SL. And the B-57A was like 40K silver lions. And that was this year too. You would essentially have to get two bases and two or three kills just to break even. It was a way for Gaijin to make certain vehicles you had to progress through entirely unplayable. The AMX-30 had a 8,300-something repair cost but if you bought the premium AMX-30, it was like 3,500 SL. So just get three kills and you’d recoup the cost. Which for some is easy, and for others, it was just a means to punish them.
Realistically, you could just have Crew XP and General XP and just have vehicles and modules unlock automatically as you researched them but again, SL is there to facilitate player-punishing mechanics.
My first thoughts on the title was “get a lot of them (SL)!”
My wallet is at 28.000.000 but I stay away from 8.0 and above. I don’t even understand every tank below that BR. And there is still so much to learn.
