New Modules for Ground Vehicles!

After we done with more modules to make it realistic, next one gotta be crew health like probability of dying by heart attack, diabetes or tanker drop grenade inside tank due to PTSD

All of these except Great Britain have Leopard 2’s. And all of these lack power systems that devs bring up in this dev blog, you’re talking about power electronics, meanwhile devblog is about power system.

Power electronics/hydraulic pumps disable turret rotation and gun elevation, with power electronics your FCS is unnaffected. Basically power electronics/hydraulic pumps is just extension of your turret drives/gun elevation mechanism.
Power system is different as killing that doesnt kill your rotation but just stabilizer, laser rangefinder and thermal (if present), autoloader. These are two different things and I can not recall a single MBT with it in game, quite a lot of light tanks with it though. BMPT’s also had it since release (it’s above the tracks for the tech tree BMPT so it basically means you can .50 cal BMPT’s power system).

FCS is basically on any modern MBT and we’re still waiting on Gaijin to implement it on older tanks (hopefully not as it’s implemented on Leopard 1 but accurately depicted) (Same with turret baskets, Gaijin intends to implement them on every BR - look at M7; I personally disagree and think turret baskets should only include actual electronics without any non required thin baskets piercing which wouldnt do anything - kinda like destroying structural wall of autoloader wouldnt disable it either, only hitting actual mechanisms of it would)

APU’s are something all vehicles just lack in game.

yeah awesome realism bros gonna love that what next gonna add barrel physics so i cant turn my turret around in a alley ?

I primarily play the U.S.

“Brilliant idea. Next thing you know, tanks in tight alleyways are gonna be playing their barrels like Gun Kata scene.”

nah thats funny tho i cant stand the people say we need more realism when it does nothing but hurt the game they gonna make you manually load the shells into the autoloader next

things we should be focusing on instead BR compression and volumetric shots giving 3000mms of armor and making stock grinds easier for lower brs

Does this mean that the M19A1 will get its turret APU that allows it to turn the turret at normal rate with engine off?

Well, I was actually responding to another member who mentioned that Russian tanks are missing many systems. I know exactly what I’m talking about, there’s no need to copy and paste things from Google, though I appreciate the gesture. Just make sure to read all the comments before replying, otherwise we might end up in a back-and-forth chain that takes us off-topic XD

Will this be implemented correctly for centauro ii?

I did not copy paste anything from google, this stuff is what you find in game. And you were quite literally responding to me, as I directly answered to your post that not many tanks have these systems (and it’s true). Which that post was a reply to nothing.

I remember when internal models came out on the dev server, Russian tanks had many more components and more detailed (like driving system, other batteries and FCS things, more detailed autoloaders, etc). They had these on tanks all the way back to T-72A but on live server they removed it.

Gaijin knows what they are doing, they are competent in acting incompetent

these stayed though

and these were removed from all MBT’s that had them except light tanks that had these stay. DW you can still act oppressed.

Will the Strv 103 series receive updated internals with this? The diesel engine and gas turbine are still modelled as a single engien module.

I will call you ADHD.
Go back and read the comments above mine including the screenshot you started responding to. You’ll see that I was talking to a player who was complaining about the absence of these modules (main electronics or hydraulic pumps) in Russian tanks. You just jumped in, caught three words, and replied without knowing the context.

that’s okay

which?

There is literally no link to what you’re replying to. Also soviets simply dont have them (hydraulic pumps) apart from their older stabilizers that were present on T-72A/ T-72AV Turms-T and T-64A, so it makes sense you dont see them on newer models, in game those hydraulic pumps are present as one with existing turret drive. Even earlier soviet stabilizers (and turret drives) were were all electrical, they only moved to hydraulic systems on early T-64/T-72 tanks as well as prototypes like 279, after which during production of T-64/72/80 they moved back to electrical turret drives.

Some differences

Shouldn’t have been, generally they took up larger space and posed greater weakness on Russian tanks, which I assume why they didn’t make it to live server.

Also bro like if you ever seen inside a T-72 or T-80 there is a LOT less room which makes it much much more compacted with vital components. Western tanks having a different design philosophy, which is not reflected ingame.

Ingame Russian tanks get both heavy armor and very good inside survivability

Western tanks are huge targets, and according to gaijin much more easily disabled by one hit (which is kind of contrary to the entire fighting philosophy of NATO) and still have the more mid armor

It should be that Russian tanks have their good armor and less survivable insides and western tanks have less armor, heavier, but are much more reliable and have fighting capability after hits

Also if we’re being real, if a DU shot penetrated a Russian tank with those cramped insides, either spall would just destroy the tank or the ignition of the spall would burn the crew or force them to evacuate.
