New Modules for Ground Vehicles!

Well, there was a whole thing about the basket around the autoloader section but the devs/mods kept ignoring any mentions of it, so it seemed kinda pointless

Another one. Your compensation was delivered in last update. But you need to play the game to know it

OFC not, only nato would ever see such a nerf.

which is? theres no disadtantadges to russian tanks at all, and the second repair you mentioned before isnt exclusive to NATO turret drives, every module of every tank gets that feature

You even don’t get what I’m talking about

you could say it instead of vagueposting

They had no differences made, they’re already realistic

Ah yes it’s okay if you remove it from western tanks but keep it to russian ones ah yes.

Is this survivability in game? I never survive more than 2 penetrations to the crew compartment, neither do you it seems given that your T series stats are same or just worse than NATO counterparts.

Also I’ll just ignore all your delusional comments on design or crew compartment spaces as you do not have a single clue what you’re talking about.

more curious on when we lost the bluetooth ammo on the BMPT, or the magically non-exploding HE grenades

Can the leclerc manually reload using ammo frok its bustle ammo rack?

HE (AGS) grenades exploding wouldnt even do anything to the crew since it’s not in the crew compartment, it’s just above the tracks so it should just track BMPT and remove ERA in area, meanwhile the crew inside should stay just fine. It’s same as in Leopard 2K where 20mm ammo is in different compartment, not inside the crew compartment itself, so if Leopard 2K lost it’s ammo you should see entire 20mm being destroyed.

They say in blog

so if Leclerc can, sure

Depends how they do it, currently you are over 30 seconds for the usual turret basket, engine shot.
that “Disabled Russian” tank can now load and shoot you while you are still repairing. And that doesn’t include the degradation to your reload rate with dead crew.

I think new modules are good but only if they are across the board. I do not want to see what we had with BMP-Ts and Bluetooth ammo belts

I saw that which is why I was asking if it had the ability to manually reload ammo from its bustle ammo rack

Btw these components are radio, command and control, GPS and wifi (local communication) hubs in the rear of the turret 🤡

Gaijin utterly despises the merkava they’ve not received a single buff in years

heres something comically comprable that i noticed too

the abrams has its blowout panel door modelled as part of the hydraulic system.

yup, that means if your blowout panels are hit, and actually do their job properly and protect you from a blowout, the hydraulics fail because of the door arm, and then the tank catches fire (which hydraulic fluid doesnt catch fire), and then is disabled from moving the turret. Awesome!

Just means like we feared that a 20mm or even a 50 cal can set your tank on fire and cause your hydraulic systems to fail.
Meanwhile Russian tanks have so much applique armour, their modules will be safe from smaller calibre rounds

Yeah I noticed that. But as always you are desparate to try and make someone on the forum look bad - which is kinda embarrassing for you.

Regardless, t series can turn their turret anyway without having to do that.

To clarify, dose disabling the electrical system disable the autoloader completely, or just slow it down like when you shut off the engine and run down the battery?
The T-72/80/90s have manual hand cranks to cycle the autoloader in the case of power failure:

Spoiler

manual crank

This differs from full manual loading in that it is still able to pull rounds from the carousel, while full manual loading is limited to rounds stored outside the carousel.
Are these going to modeled as such in game? Ie, if the auto loader is “destroyed” will manual reload be limited to rounds out side the auto loader, while if it is disabled due to lack of power you can still use rounds in the autoloader, just slower?

Honestly - please stop, or at least disable this stuff in Arcade and use the older, simpler damage models basically.

It’s already ridiculous in ground as you’ve added them in piecemeal, giving certain tanks massive advantages because without the updated models they are not nearly as vulnerable, they don’t have things knocked out the same way, etc. But seriously - why does there have to be yet another way to take out my ability to aim, or move the tank, or any of the other stuff that there is already another 2, 3, 5 ways to knock out to give someone an advantage? Where a crap shot now can still luck in to hitting something to make it so you can’t shoot back at them with a well aimed one. Oh - but if he uses a certain tank I do the same but it doesn’t do anything because it uses a different damage model. Oh - but then you had to start in on airplanes too, what fun it is when a teammate flies past your F-5 with someone shooting at them where your plane takes what seems like a grazing blow but when you go to pull the trigger 2 seconds later guns don’t fire cause weapons are knocked out, or losing the head to head because you shot first against a plane with old damage models and they 1 shot your fire control.

Ever since you’ve added these systems - I’m spending more and more time repairing my damn tank. I didn’t come here to play ‘Tank Repair Simulator’, I came here to play Warthunder. I came here to drive tanks, and shoot at other tanks and the like, or fly planes and shoot down other planes or blow up ground targets. And especially as an Arcade player - I didn’t come here to sit and repair something every 15 seconds cause something landed within 300 feet of me hoping the red guys don’t pop out while I can’t do jack, or to have to fly back to base cause I can’t use any weapons cause some stray round hit a spot that leaves the plane flyable but can’t freaking fire anything - especially in the mode with in-air reloading.

You NEED to add a repair priority selector to ground vehicles with all these modules, let ME pick what the crew fixes first.

The amount of times you die because the crew fix tracks before say, the gun breech is silly. We should be able to choose what we fix first, mobility to retreat or gun related systems to try fight back.
