You’re the one who called me a Russian main.

That’s it!? That’s your big reveal?

It’s right there. The autoloader sits in a basket technically. The silver things is where the rounds and proprellant are in which can spin on it’s own but that is sitting in a basket basically which spins with the turret does it not?

Still no turret basket for Tseries tank but hey no problem let’s add more thing that will allow them to magically be back on the battle again.

I’m happy to see this thing but if gaijin could be consistent and add a nerfing mechanic to everyone and not just to some nation…

I guess, If you guys are going to add more realism by making FCS as crucial part of MBTs, I just wish you guys consider adding more FCS features such as Auto lead without the need of manual aiming, IRST tracking against ground target, Angular Velocity lead etc etc. also I hope we have virtual joystick control option for aiming too.

just because u got other trees doesnt mean u dont main one nation, but anyways ur statement is hot garbage

It was already said they will NOT add this because it trivializes top tier gameplay, which is already trivial (on basis of point your gun, press rangefind, find da death pixel, shoot, repeat)

so after a solid year or so of you saying the russians wont get turret baskets because “autoloaders are equivalent”, and now autoloaders being destroyed does absolutely nothing, are we getting any compensation for this orrr

maybe make it realistic with how russia guns cant be elevated or depressed during reload? or how the autoloader acts the same as the alleged NATO turret baskets work

we drive a 4 crewed tank only by ourselves, we aim from our barrels instead of gunner view for more efficiency but it’s still realistic because we will get more thing to repair I guess.

Unfortunately, Gaijin is not mistaken regarding these modules. The Russians tend to integrate them into other systems, often attaching them directly to the components they relate to, and scatter them throughout the turret.
IRL, this has drawbacks, as these components are subjected to stress during operation and whenever the vehicle is hit (even if the round fails to penetrate). NATO systems are more secure in this regard, though they tend to be larger. Obviously, these mechanics do not exist in the game.

If only they modeled the spall liners correctly, we could avoid losing them all from a random hit on the other side of the tank.

More modules just press J in any damange…

See this is a good addition

Oh wow. That’s Immeasurably disappointing thing to hear. What’s the point of making game detailed and realistic at this point then. To be honest I really don’t get how that trivializes the game? Even if we have those features, we’ll still have to aim for the weakpoints ourselves, Think to put ourselves in a good position? Is pulling up in a FNF helicopter to start point and clicking is not trival? That’s interesting. In my opinion, The game has already trivialized enough to introduce those mechanics

are you usually like this?

Will this fix the issue where the APU on the Bulldog is always on?

While its certainly cool that tanks get modelled more accurately, and i of course like that.

Will this just be the next addition that somehow gets taken out by basically every incoming shot that pens anywhere on abrams, leopards, lelclercs and type 10s (like turret baskets that “jam” when some of the mesh gets bent or the hydraulics which ofc have no redundancy, or manual turret cranks, get taken out) but are impossible to take out, because of being tiny, for some mysterious reason, on russian tanks? Surely smacking a 120 mil apfsds straight through the entire tank (that ofc fails to spall because magic 20 mil armor around the autoloader stops all spall, trust) would also jam something inside a t series stopping the turret from traversing? Even if the crew and all the ammo magically survives if a dart just zipped right through the fighting compartment at mach jesus, barely missing the crew. If “turret basket gets damaged and bent stopping the turret from being able from traversing” is the reasoning for this to happen with basically any penning shot on all the tanks that have baskets, whats the exact reasoning for something very similar not happening on t-series?

Only because, somehow, those cant manage to be on par with the absolute best top tier mbts?

Maybe model it so the firing controls even get taken out by he and autocannons shooting the turret front on the leclercs, that would be funny no?
oh it already does by shooting at the optics with a bmpt. hm. gaijin is just ahead of me. always a step ahead.

So, how does this work? Once the “carousel” runs out of shells, is the next shell loaded into the carousel, or is it loaded directly into the gun? Currently, when the ready rack is depleted, shells are always loaded directly into the gun first.

If the autoloader mechanism breaks down, does manual loading begin immediately alongside the repair process? And what happens if the repair is completed before the manual reload is finished?

Yeah, we know, the point is the T series tanks’ horizontal drive works even if the autoloader is damaged, while the NATO and Japanese tanks have a basket that, if exhaled on wrong, you can’t rotate your turret. But for whatever reason, Gaijin isn’t adding that…
