Hear me out, a suicide drone that would cost between 1500 and 2000 spawn points which would guarantee one kill if operated correctly and in good conditions, it should still spawn high or at least at medium altitude, and it would allow for SPAA to intercept said suicide drone before it could reach optimal altitude (low altitude). It wouldn’t be insanely broken but would allow for a new dynamic in the battlefield.

Just an idea, like how we already have F&F guided bombs on UAVs in-game (specifically the Orion)

The MQ-9 should be the in-game replacement for the MQ-1 anyways, reasoning is pretty straight forward, for the U.S. at least.

If by “good conditions” you mean “somehow to be blessed by Gaijin to get HEAT jet not ricocheted from 0.02mm of structural steel or not be vanished in armor due to server desync”, then the price should be like 200 SP because I ain’t betting 60-80% of nuke SP cost for a chance to get a “Critical hit” at best and crash out at worst

But such drones would be hella interesting to see in the game, but I’d say for tippity top tier only (I don’t want to be clapped by FPV drone in my T-54 model 1949)

That is what I was thinking, whether Gaijin would go down that route if they ever were introduced it is a whole different topic (they don’t have a good track record lmao). I could see it being introduced at around 12.3 and above, depending how good or bad it performances, it going up .4 or down .3 in BR respectively.

I personally would prefer more UAV variety in-game, like some Turkish drones for example. Drones as of now can be annoying but for top tier, they’re irrelevant for game impact and pretty mediocre.

Of course, everything must be balanced, but again, Gaijin doesn’t have the best track record with these stuff

And it’s not like I am for FPV drones with quad engines that have PG-7 strapped on it but kamikaze drones like Switchblade 600 and so on that are pretty much one-attempt weapon as you won’t be able to retarget properly if you started to dive on target

I feel sad playing it, and looking at it. Guess I forgot to pay for the premium explosive, the one that comes with damage, and not only visual effects.

I cant wait for this to happen again but with drone that is actually coming to kill me lol.

With 3rd person cam and boosted controls we see on the current recon drone (on top if its ridiculous damage model) AND the fact that FPV drone controlled by player could target specific weakspots unlike FnF missiles that are pretty much random, a 200 SP drone would completly cuck the top tier as we know it.

We already had that when the Predator drones first released, and we shouldnt have such stupid decision come to the game ever again.
