In the same exact time it takes a Kh-38 to reach? Hell no, there shouldn’t be any limits, imagine spawning and not being able to do anything for 15 seconds. Terrible gameplay design,
It comes from my Call of Duty days, zero respect for corner campers. With tanks it makes more sense to camp, which is why I understand the strat, especially with slow tanks.
“Lit up like a Christmas tree” does nothing when you’re slamming people with missiles 15km away, 10+km in the sky. It’s zero skill to point and click.
Well players are free to play the way the want, everyone should have their own right to enjoy the game. If it means camping, ratatulia racing around the map, that is a personal decision.
I never said it was super complex to perform missile launches from 13km clicks, but that kinda does not work anymore. Now you have to be within 8 to 9 km to do it. Sure aa vehicles were suppressed for some time. After this new update roles out that will change. Then you can deploy 2 launchers with 8 missiles each and an ammo box next to your launcher with an another 8 ready to be re-supplied.
I bet a lot of players will be deploying aas when the update first launches, heck we might call it aa realistic battles.

But ground rb was always another version of air rb. Then why do we have 3 rotating things (heli, plane, tank)? I think gajiin has worded it wrongly it should not be called ground rb, rather multi theater battle setting or mixed realistic battles.

That’s core part of the game. I understand the sentiment but it’s something that this game has built for a long time. “Realism” is their catchphrase, so adding a version where it’s not possible to spawn planes in ground isn’t a priority. And people will never stop revenge bombing/looking for easy kills

and against a competent pilot youll get 0 while he kills your team
your airbase should actually be 600km from the ground battlefield
tons of blah blah because you cant kill everyone in ground battles as easily

Well at the moment you might not get a frag against a skilled pilot, but that will change. However, it should never change in a manner in which we can have launchers placed all over the map to get the easiest frags in the game.

People use their brains when they fly these are generalizations made through out the years. I am not a flying duck but if you are allowed to place a missile within 2km of aircarft spawning or even 5km away you simply wont react, plane does not turn as fast as you think. Do you fly?
I know about the suffering I am better at using tanks than aa systems, this will change but I am pretty sure this thing of placing aa around the hole entire map wont happen.

all this time we have been spawn camped by aircraft. now aircraft are complaining about it before it even happens

Well that is because there is no adequate air defense coverage at the airfield, I never really do such things when I spawn in an aircraft, my goal is not to shoot other aircraft in ground rb. Yes occasionally I get a few air frags, but my primary objective is to send the two story telephone polls in orbit and to hurl a few frying pans at a commanders cupola.
Well with the new radars and missiles it wont be that easy, it should be challenging for everyone.
