New Game Mode Proposal: "Carrier Strike Assault" – Fix Naval & Make Aircraft Matter!

Mode Name: Carrier Strike Assault Format: 12v12 or 16v16, 2-round swap (attack ↔ defend) Win Condition: Total damage score after 2 rounds (higher wins)


Round 1: Night Raid

  • Team A (Air Raiders): 12–16 players, each spawns 1–2 aircraft (torpedo bombers, dive bombers, fighters) → Goal: Coordinate iron anvil attack on enemy fleet → Night time + limited visibility (realistic pre-1943 radar) → Free/low-cost spawn, 2–3 respawns per player
  • Team B (Fleet Defense): 12–16 players control mixed fleetBattleships / Battlecruisers: MAIN GUNS STRONG, AA FIREPOWER REDUCED 50–70%Cruisers & Destroyers = AA KINGS (40mm, 20mm, radar directors) → Goal: Survive, protect carriers, use smoke & maneuver

Round 2: Roles Swap

  • Same map (large open ocean, 50km+ range), randomized fleet composition
  • Final Score = Total Damage Dealt (sinking, fires, modules)

Why This Fixes Naval:

Current Naval This Mode
1 plane = suicide 12+ planes at once = saturation attack
BB AA lasers everything BBs weak vs air, rely on light ships for AA
Destroyers useless DDs/CLs = vital AA screen
No teamwork Voice + coordination = win
Boring ship slog 15–20 min intense air-naval clash

Historical Accuracy + Fun:

  • Simulates Midway, Marianas, Leyte Gulf
  • Torpedo planes force turns → dive bombers strike flight deck
  • Fighters clear CAP → bombers live longer
  • Low-tier ships finally matter!

Rewards & Progression:

  • Team synergy bonus: +100% RP/SL for coordinated kills
  • Achievements: “Anvil Strike” (torpedo + dive hit in <30s), “AA Wall” (shoot down 5+ planes)
  • Custom rooms for clans/squads

Gaijin, please! Naval has been begging for this since 2016. Aircraft should be deadly in waves — not cannon fodder. Let destroyers save the day with AA, not just torpedoes.
