Not at all. This suggestion actually requires teamwork which is lacking in this game.
I completely disagree with adding limits under the guise of historical accuracy when said vehicles aren’t even limited in the simulator game mode. All it would lead to is prototypes becoming nearly useless in what could be war thunders best mode.
Maybe not historically accurate limits then, but if you wish to cut down a bit on the spamming of OP/meta vehicles, then I do think that limiting the amount in play at any given time is a better idea than limiting the total quantity that can be spawned in by each player per match.
In the Battlefield series, for example, there is usually an unlimited amount of vehicles that can be spawned per match however you’ll have to get lucky or wait for someone to die if all slots are taken.
Or just allow people to play whatever they like, which will certainly increase the popularity of the mode if there were no such spawn restrictions.
I think that part of this suggestion could be added, non-playable infantry. So you are in and IFV and using radio (like the one used for chaos in the chat) to tell them to attack buildings or help capture a point
This is an awesome suggestion, I’ve been looking for something exactly like this! This could also very easily fix the small-maps issue, which is especially painfull at top tier. Being able to use all 3 main vehicle types in one battle sounds awesome as well. This would also be the prefect gamemode to add ai infantry and light vehicles, as well as even other non-combat vehicles as another user suggested. Some maps might need a small rework or some more detail added to them, but most maps need that anyway. I’m absolutely all for it!!
Battlefield pulled it off perfectly and there is even less teamwork in that series of games.
WT can do it with its current player situation, as long as you dont get a 5.0-8.0 german or 9.0-13.0 american team
