The new BR changes for planes have made the game UNPLAYABLE for me as a Su-30MK2 and Su-30MKK player, since these jets were already getting downtiered before the update. I’m literally a free kill.
I’ve uninstalled the game, and I apologize to the German players.
We all accepted that the Su-30MK2 and Su-30MKK had a higher BR than they should, since they’re premiums and we didn’t mind; it was the price to pay. But now it’s no longer acceptable to have a radar with a 60°×10° scan area when I’m facing planes with 120°.
I had the Premium RU Su-30MK2 before the BR changes. It and the Premium Chinese Su-30MKK are both fine at their new BR’s. They face equivalent opponents now. “Sorry” you can’t seal club lower BR planes now. NOT!
Uh… I think everyone pretty much universally agrees they are still under BRed and should be 14.0 right here right now with no further decompression. Though top tier is still really compressed.
Let me put it this way. Do you think the Su-30 Premiums with 4x R-73 and 6x R-77s are on par with aircraft like the F-16 with 0-6 Aim-9Ls + 0-6 Aim-120Bs and less CMs or the Mig-29s with 0-6 R-73s and 0-6 R-77 and less CMs?
Su-30 has bigger CMs, more CMs, and nearly double the missiel count of anything else at its BR.
In ANY downtier, the Su-30 wins the fight against EVERYTHING. I have no idea how I would fight an Su-30 premium in something like a Tornado F3 Late only 0.3 BR lower.
Is it balanced? Or to be honest. Did anything even change for it?
They moved BRs up fairly universally by 0.3. So with the exception of 12.3s no longer being free kills… not a lot really changed for it. In an uptier it basically sees the same set of aricraft (which now actually excludes the F-15C GE, so technically a buff) and in a downtier it sees all the same aircraft except the 12.3s.
