The “new booster”, which is effectively “actual aileron, rudder and elevator performance” if you played this game long enough and grinded enough jets from 7.3 onwards.
Now, this mods basically turn your plane into not a bomber in fighter skin after you acquire it, which means it unfuck your FM after the game knowingly fuck it for you. and it is also a tier 2 mod which means it’s about 1/2 more RP compared to the first mod.
Question: How the fuck is this a thing?
I get maintenance mod, used plane and all, but surely the previous user oils the flight control surface axle right? there’s no way that they just on purpose disables their plane before selling it? the game lore makes no sense when this particular mods get introduced. I get not having weapon this or that, it’s expensive, so does proper maintenance, but control surface stiffness?
Remove this mod, right now it’s a waste of money that ensure you threw all 10 free repair away before you’re in fighting forms, practically making the 10 free repair useless as it’s used to fix the plane in it’s least coherent state.
Mod cost is the same overall no matter how many mods a vehicle has. Removing mods will not decrease the overall cost to fully modify a vehicle. Having more mods decreases the individual cost of each mod, as the total cost per mod rank is split evenly among the modifications in that rank, which is a good thing, because it means that the mods that actually matter are cheaper.
A lot of mods are a scam, offering little to no value and exist purely to extend the grind, the worst thing is how inconsistent mods are however, and how different mods are in different tiers for different nations for no reason at all.
Except “new booster” basically makes it that you have to grind for stock performance. that is the mods where the only justification is greed. Other mods can be viewed as lore reason and all.
