They should lower it BR if it lost it defensive capabilities imo
Historical accuracy should always take prescedence and they have only relatively recently added the ability to add chaff without adding flares. So this change is a good one and we may see far more aircraft get this change or be added like this in the future. I can think of at least one aircraft that has no CMs but might be able to be given a little chaff
A battle rating reduction may now be necessary. 9.0 would be a good starting point. Though it is a supersonic? with a gun. So 9.3 might be as low as it can go
