Absolutely also a point, busmaster variant should significantly more accurate, they literally teach bradley crews to aim for sensors which would be quite hard to reliably hit with the spread ingame, and the bradley uses the older 25mm chaingun.
For ground vehicles absolutely imo, aircraft definetly not

Then, accuracy is bad. If you have spread then the beaten area increases. Especially with high rate of fire that is inaccessible for a bushmaster. No idea why you’re so obsessed on accuracy stat
Kinda, not really. Accuracy is really just a byproduct of a simpler design as there is less that can effectively ever so slightly mess up your accuracy.
Also, historically speaking; they really only used the 2A42 in low fire mode.

Keep in mind what you see in the video is high firing rate, as you can see by the gun oscillation, smoke, and tracer pattern.
I’m not entirely sure, but attempting to translate things, but “sigma” (σ) != median.
1σ is ~68%, 2σ is 95% and 3σ is 99.7% which again are not equivalent to 50%.
Also to convert milliradians to dispersion; is distance in cm / distance in meters.
so;
Dispersion in (Mrad * 1000) / range in meters = dispersion in meters
so the APFSDS rounds at say 1000 meters, would be at most (e.g. 3σ) be within 0.8 meters (80cm) of one another.
So it’s not obvious, though the western rounds should be more accurate even without a specific table.
Also Current production US rounds claim “0.44 / 0.77” mrad maximum (?3σ?) dispersion.
You dont either, facts of the matter is there is a ton of footage showing how inaccurate the cannons are and very little footahe showing otherwise not to mention that like i mentioned sixteen times already, the 2a42 is a cheap gas operated system.
And going by actual data is impossible if no such thing exist, ive spent the last few days searching for a manual or technical sheet, and im out of luck ive hit up a few libraries to see if they had anything but i havent got a response.

1:00 there is a bradley firing at a target 990 meters away.
Complains about the inaccuracy of a model in the game compared to other;
People agree but ask for sources and datas;
Refuses to provide real source and only provide few footages with no know informations about the conditions where the said equipments is used;
Wrangles instead of providing when asked for actual data;
Repeat.
Armament accuracy is something hard to Gaijin changes, you actually need some very specific information about the equipment, something I don’t think no one without direct accessibility to the equipment can provide.

there are not many sources simple as, not to mention accuracy is highly dependant on a ton of factors. there are some generalizations around and you can find the trial requirements for more modern vehicles. but you arent going to find some specific data on the bmp2 easily as a non russian speaker.
