Nerf scouting

Don’t make my statements for me, especially when you don’t want to understand the point of what’s being said.

As I’ve mentioned already, it’s very simple.

Not in the slightest… After all, you don’t know if you’ve been seen, so your ‘warning’ that you want is further unrealistic.

I agree with you completely, OP is a clown and needs to start coping, but point number 3 is not true, the TAM absolutely slaps balls and still fucks in uptiers

I understood it this way; you do not need to give through the coordinates when being in a unit with the scout tank, maybe you could clarify what you actually meant

I clarified it already numerous times, you’re just ignoring that, and that shows you only want things that align with what you want, hence you putting up your suggestion to ‘fix’ your issue over and over in the thread.

It’s about the actual method of passing on the target in the presence and non-presence of others. Artillery is not there, so you give grids, local comms is there so you give a bearing and range.

It’s pretty straight forward.

This is what I understood: you only need bearing and range as Information since the tank unit can work with that.
If I didn’t get your point I’m sorry then it has to be the language barrier that lead to me missing some important key information.

But if I did understand it correctly:
What I don’t understand is how friendly tanks that are far away from the reconnaissance tank would know where the enemy tank was with only these 2 information. They will need to know where the reconnaissance tank is to put these 2 information into context.

The same way a unit away from the main unit would… By knowing the relative position to thier unit.

It’s not as if the fighting unit will start throwing out map grids to thier unit to make them have to look at a map and find that location to actually check it for an enemy… Literally the same as the air alert now, they call bearings and ranges, and you put 2 and 2 together.

Okay thank you explaining that. I guess though you need certain methods to find you the relative position to that other unit (probably by sight or so).

But even though it might still not be an exact simulation of reality, I now understand that it is an approximation to reality.

This doesn’t change the fact that the way scouting works isn’t implemented perfectly at all (for example: the ping updating even though the scouting tank not having a LOS in it) but at least I now understand why scouting is not comparable to an artillery strike request.

well, then it should be bigger but without the red dot lol just the shaded circle is enough.

I agree and the funny bit is that scout drones can’t even “properly” scout at all.

That was my point ,I never found the rewards for spending the game scouting that amazing compared to getting kills. It was done to fulfill BP tasks.
