That only works on extremely hot planes with bol (tornados, harriers etc). Most of the time r60ms are one flared
not even tornado´s if you do it right…
Nah, I’ve hit pre flaring tornados with r60ms, I’m talking about the air to air ones that has mostly bol flares. The air to ground ones get 56 large flares
What should be nerfed of the mig 23 should be the sustained turn rate, if I recall correctly it’s still over performing
it worked more or less fine I just cut my afterburner and flared…, maybe this is the reason(I use no bol flares)
that’s ground attack tornado not air to air one
That’s the IDS. Those are large calibre flares and are very effective against IR threats
The Tornado F3/ADV mostly use BOL and those are much much weaker (and have a much shorter burn time) to that of a regular CM found on most aircraft (Though BOL flares should be equal to large calibre flares in overall effectiveness, bar the shorter burn time)
nah my k/d in the 11.7 tornado is more or less in the reach of my mig23´s k/d(mostly played it kinda dumb tho)…
its this one
Yes. A Tornado IDS with 56 Large Calibre Flares. Kizvy is talking about the Tornado F3 / Tornado ADV found at 12.0
probably, he didnt specify this in the first tho, which you cant blame bc you dont want to spade all of their versions in all techtrees…
doesnt look that far off tbh(if it is even off)…
overperforming by 10-20 percent, not a lot but a decent amount. the first time they nerfed it, they nerfed it right but it was super unplayable, then they just snuck in a buff that makes it overperform again but its at least playable
in which areas do you say it overperform??
in the f4j i turn off ab and flare a lot and still r60ms hit me without any effort
considering the fact that the mig-23 isn’t the only plane that overperforms, and that other planes overperform egregiously (looking at you f-5 series of planes) imo it’s pretty fine that’s overperforming, but gaijin needs consistency when it comes to stuff like this
Tbh that results MiG-23MLD being better ratefighter than typhoon on paper(statshark)
