This means you are actually a terrible pilot. In a MiG of all things you shouldn’t be getting hit by these things. Any MiG at their BR should be capable of knowing when they are coming and how to escape them - even after the buff.

ive shot pheonixes hundreds of times, and ive had pheonixes fired at me, if you fly too low youll die to splash, ive seen my missiles do that, and i died that way too

I was flying the F-5E yesterday at 20m and no Phoenix’s hit me they dont have splash damage if you want ill get someone to test it later
i mean, go ahead with the “test”, but every single AAM in this game will explode on contact with the ground / water and cause splash damage

They definitely have splash damage… Every single YouTube guide talking about the Phoenix mentions the “fly low to the ground but pull up to evade AIM splash damage” message.
I’ve also been killed by it. They slam into the ground and suddenly you explode with them.
You know, he’s the one who came here whining and saying it needs a nerf. This community doesn’t take kindly to people who waste everyone’s time by doing no research and then complaining the game needs to change to bend to their incompetence.
If he’d come in saying, “hey this missile feels overpowered - what can be done.” That’d be a whole different story.
