Or just cover yourself in enough oil and you’ll fly becuz moisture in air, DUHHHHHH
It’s hard to think when you don’t have a brain.
Edit: cope Mr flagger
I don’t agree with that, the only thing the aim54A/C can be is a little annoying, for the simple fact that if you fly too low (let’s say 10 meters above the ground) it can splash damage you but practically all missiles can do this, the aim54 is just more likely to do this because I believe it has more explosive charge, but that’s it, other than that it is an extremely easy missile to defeat, if you dont fly low enough you can simply go cold or notch the missile…
at least for me, who’s always hugging the deck, it’s rare that I die to aim54, and if I die it’s just my fault tbh
Bro just lick the ground and turn when you see it as the red thingy. Nothing bad will happen its easy as that bruh.
Your inability to dodge a fat lumbering giant of a missile does not make it “overpowered”
This community disappoints me so much some times. Rather them belittling him, teach him. Did anyone consider maybe he doesn’t know what notching is or how to do it? Only one or two people did. What about what to do if the missile wasn’t launched at him to start?
Notching means flying in a trajectory that is perpendicular in nature relative to the enemy locking radar. Look at your RWR while being locked you will see a dashed line connecting opposition radar to your aircraft. What you want to do is turn sideways and make a right angle.
If it wasn’t launched at you but suddenly you have a missile warning but don’t see a missile anywhere. You want to do the same thing with the notch turn left or right 90° to it. But you also want weave up and down. Kind of like a porpoise. This will cause the missile to lose energy making it easier to defeat. This last part is more pertinent to aim 54s. Other radar missiles are easier to defeat by hugging the dirt.
Why are you even notching in the first place multipathing is how you avoid SARH/ARH not a single radar set ingame is immune to multipathing meanwhile switching off PD or using MTI invalidates notching
No its not our job to teach people how to play the game especially someone this incompetent genuinely if you cannot get a single vehicle above 1 k/d with more than 50 games you shouldnt be allowed an opinion these players are why gaijin is making smaller maps in GRB i dont want ARB ruined as well because bad players need a crutch to do well
I’ve seen multiple people describe how to do so.
Because the AIM-54 doesn’t have a pulse mode, and only operates by means of a velocity gate?
It gets affected by multipathing ingame as long as you arent above water it shouldnt but thats just how its coded
Fella, Phoenixes can be dodged in your sleep. They’re honestly a waste of a pylon slot & research points…
Yeah, it’s affected by multipathing, though that can be entirely negated by a top-down approach.
Just notch it.
Bro it doesnt matter where you fire a SARH or ARH from multipathing will force it to eat dirt
And again, if it’s coming in from a higher altitude it still has a very high chance of hitting you
It’s also not people’s job to be jerks. But they do it anyway. It doesn’t kill you to be kind. And the only way new players are going to learn is through trial and error or someone taking the time to show them. And belittling someone just because of their stats further exemplifies my disappointment and the community. Like it or not, everyone’s entitled to their opinion no matter what their stats are. The gatekeeping in this game just needs to stop.
How many people took the time to educate and how many took the time to belittle. The sad fact of the matter is far more people belittled this player then tried to help.
That’s what happens when instead of asking for help, you attack the game and the mechanisms of the game.
The AIM-54A/C isn’t overpowered. There is no need for a nerf of it, as it is already underperforming heavily.
Gatekeeping is a good thing gaijin shouldn’t cater to the incompetent
Agreed. He did take the wrong approach. But that may have just been more through frustration and not knowing what to do. Because if it’s your first time encountering Phoenix’s, they can seem overpowered if you don’t know what to do. I’m just advocating for the community to be a little nicer. For all we know this could be a language issue and something was lost in translation. It cost nothing to be helpful. And it makes the community better as a whole.
I’m framing this and putting it on my wall
