I think it’s mainly due to the round kit they get, e.g. the proxy and dart’s with basically a unlimited first stage ammorack
while other’s have a few round’s or have missing rounds (Example the Type 25 RCV and Type 24 ICV for japan still missing it’s proxy/airburst/ahead (forgot which it was) round’s despite internal report being accepted for it to recieve)
Cant seem to read the number but that’s about 146/147
whilst other’s get like 14 or 34 rounds as well as clear dispersian when firing, whilst the 2S38 remain’s virtually pinpoint accurate regardless of sustained fire
I think i disagree here. Thats why i mentioned the Boxer MGS specifically, sure a 430mm 5sec gun is great but it has no flexibility against aircraft, similarly terrible armor, similar mobility, its as tall as a house and has a manned turret.
Which would also buff the 2S38 rewardwise. Its literally just a better IVF
It’s 148 rounds in total not counting the ammunition already loaded, meaning you have 147 rounds available in a single ready rack that’s the ammo stowage below the cannon, the vehicle mechanically don’t have such limitation, the system is based in one used in Coastal vessels which require constant firerate.
LVKV 9040C is limited in darts as it should use the same upgraded rounded that the 9040C uses but due to it being an SPAA it is stuck with the 140mm pen rounds.
We could also mention that theres no frontal spall liner which means the engine/transmission instantly nuke the tank from most body shots and the radar is an HE magnet so hiding behind cover is near impossible its just the worst of spaa and IFV worlds also the CV90’s wont be getting their tracking this update despite gaijin stating when the mbt tracking gets added the CV90 would get that ability. The LVKV is just kinda meh for ground imo.
Would still be nice to have something to hold the target while you adjust your aim, its a shame how artificially nerfed the CV90s have been since their introduction from gaijin actively ignoring the 30mm and 35mm HE-VT rounds and their tracking and armor
A nerf means to reduce capability.
Artificial means without reason/source.
War Thunder doesn’t have laser inertial guidance as a feature, so it’s not artifiicial.
And CV90s never had the feature in-game to begin with, so it’s not a nerf.
It is okay to say “CV90s have this horrific inaccuracy that I don’t like.” or something similar along those lines.
Tbf they could’ve given them their rounds when they were bug reported and accepted years ago but they’ve been ignored which keeps them below the standard for other IFVs at their own br and below them. Its just double standards so yes its artificially nerfing them by choosing what to implement rather than adding them to full capacity.
