6+ kill can’t be done every other match by me especially when I’m playing britian. So it’s rather dejecting to see ur efforts rewarded with chump change. It’ll take what like 50+ games for a rank 4 vehicle at this rate? (Also I’m f2p for the time being, don’t earn my living yet)

no, battle lenght is a think in every mode.
It’s a thing in every mode, but I think it only has an effect in air
it depens on match lenght, how many hits and crits u did and what br the enemy was, and if you won.
also the lower the enemy br the lower your reward. (and i think also what the class the enemy was using counts too but not 100% on that one)
also of course the modifier of the vehicle u played in that moment counts also in.
no it has effect in every mode. u can by the way see that yourself if you hover over the details in the result screen, usually you should get a list of what and why and how much you got for every shot, minute, kill and so on
and to add a random fact…
in the past it was less of an impact in the earnings how long a battle was going on… but some months (or even years at this point) ago they changed it to make it having a much much higher impact. Also you get less for winning and more for losing nowadays. Making winning or losing less impactfull… i know that day very good cause i protested against implementing that change…
Using the ‘efficient vehicles’ for any vehicle you are researching gives an RP boost.
This is in the stat card of the vehicle you are researching and is generally the vehicle prior in the tree.
Look at match duration.
8 minutes.
The brunt of reward for all but air sim ec come from time played. (well, sim EC does as well but your time played is fixed 15 minute intervals where your score resets and it’s a logarithmic function)
You need to earn score - how doesn’t matter - that maintains an activity% around 90 or higher. This percentage then gets multiplied by the time you were alive and the ground RB constant.

Table of coefficients
You earn 0.71 RP every second you are alive in that vehicle, which gets reduced by your activity%. You were alive for 6:59 minutes
So, at base level you were earning (6*60+59)*0.71*0.85
= 256 RP.
This of course gets multiplied by skill bonus, vehicle economy modifier and whatnot.
You’ve also earned on top of this base RP of 5 kills - 5 * 70 = 350 RP, plus 8 hits - 8 * 2 = 16 RP, 5 crits = 4*5 = 10 RP.
Again, multiplied by vehicle modifiers and everything else.
As you can see, nearly half your RP gains are just from being alive and playing.
If the match lasted for twice as long and your score qualified for the same 85% activity without any further kills, you’d be looking at 2*(6*60+59)*0.71*0.85
= 512 RP` plus all of the above.
Now, ground battles suffer in applying this formula cleanly as you can see on the table, planes and tanks have different coefficients and so does destroying a plane versus a tank and so does whether you did that in a tank or a plane. It’s a mess.
And it gets even worse by the fact that you have respawns. It seems activity does not carry over perfectly between respawns, so if you do incredibly well for 5 minutes, die and struggle to make an impact in your back up vehicle, you’ll receive far less RP than if you stayed in your original vehicle and afked.
TL:DR:
You gain most RP by staying alive in a single vehicle for a long match.
This match you linked barely lasted 8 minutes, of which you were only alive for 6:59
Is this a good system? Not really, but it’s a potential reason for why you seem to get much worse RP rewards - faster matches.
at the end you picket the vehicles with the worst reward modifiers aswell, so choose your vehicles wisely.
and for SL… dont suicide with your plane :D u can do a shit ton of dmg and therefore earnings with the 20mm hispanos on that br after you dropped your bombs. (checked the replay of yours)
Ohh i think the respawn think u said is actually a big factor… I spawned and afked a match and in the end got a kill, 37% activity and still got 800 rp which is comparable to the 85% activity 5 kill match i posted. Funny huh
The targets looked grouped up so i just sent it. Also I’m majorly grinding ground rn so didn’t wanna spend too much time in a plane :)

I have around 140 rp modifier on all vehicles in my current lineup. Can’t go any higher (psst it’s britain). Anyway thanks for the pointers man.
