Navy since firebirds patch

Something has changed for me since last patch. People (maybe bots) sniper like crazy. My boats explode in seconds.
Seems navy got some drastic changes or naval got more popular and I have to face real players since patch ^^

If you play navy, how are your experiences?

The biggest change, beside the UI being overloaded with hit and damage symbology, is the extreme buff to the inital targeting.

What used to taken even a few seconds in a destroyer is now almost instant and getting that first salvo out is key to subsequent aiming. Arcade is now almost point and shoot from the moment anyone spawns, worse than ever before. Basically the only limit now is turret rotation speed and if that gets the same treatment it will be chaos.

In addition there is a new round of bots, at least at low tier Bluewater. They do seem more accurate than previous rounds of bots and the vehicle of choice is the Japanese slow firing but heavy hitting Satsuki.

unfortunality there is no hint that they will revert the drastical decrease of targeting time. I assume that this change was made to encourage new players but without to reflect about the consequences of buffing the bluewater (and most of the frigates) ships. This new players (if any) will at sudden have negative experience just after leaving the reserve coastal boats when facing early destroyers. Actually you are often targeted just after spawning from the bluewater’s spawn. Its ridicoulos that they often can target a ship/boat without having any line of sight from him or any team member.
