Naval Spawn

How difficult is it for this company to arrange naval spawn for large ships?

On some maps we spawn facing each other and sometimes less than 9 km away from the enemies.

I’ve died dozens of times in less than 30 seconds of playing.

There is no strategy or game dynamics.

Gaijin continues to introduce new ships but they don’t fix basic game mechanics.

you are on point. Naval spawn is completely broken and needs a fix ASAP

But how can that be fixed? Making the maps even bigger would cause the battles to last longer. And firing at long distances and getting good hits is gambling anyway because of gun dispersion. And when you get randomly ammo racked by someone you can sail all these extreme distances again. Putting more islands in between is just not natural. Bluewater ships belong in open waters. And also it would make is easier for bluewater ships to invade coastal fleet areas. As if PT boats or especially coastal vessels without torpedoes don’t suffer enough.

For some reason gaijin is convinced people want GRB style spawn points in naval and they just dont work. Would be a major improvement for Gaijin to fix the spawn points in naval

Just increasing their size would go a long way to spreading out where people spawn and removing the concetrated barrages. Also gives you more room to turn at the start of the match

I think it would go a long way, if players would not spawn as close as they do now in the beginning in the match. I dont see how you would need to enlarge the map more than 1-2 kilometers max to fit this

There is no real way to fix this with the current spotting system. Bigger map make the game way way longer cause big ship are slow and adding path would be irrelevant since you can still be shot at anyway, there should be a total remake of naval , the aiming system is kinda wonky but at least it work. Beside that , the mode is super broken

Also spawning with full speed and flank gear facing a stupid island just shows how wrong this is.

There are maps were when you pick your spawn there are 2 points but again there is like traffic jam

The only thing that needs to be fixed is spacing out ships in spawn a bit more, so you can actually turn.

Ohh boy if you think 9000 metres is bad wait until you get a map labelled [Boats] as since two updates ago that means anything from a destroyer spawning corvette, frigate, destroyer & heh if we follow IRL classifications cruisers spawning under 4500 metres into an utter clusterbeep of a match.

Heh with the right ship you play of carving the way battle experience be it the Black Pearl, The Devastator ISDI, SMS Emden as you move between the foundering wrecks of your foes with pinpoint precision of your cannons.

You never played World of Warships? Never played Modern of Warships? You talk about realism but when in history has a fleet of lines ever appeared face to face at each other less than 9 km away as if they were tanks?

This game is not a simulation even though the advertisement says so.

And if it were to be realistic, naval combat would be even more distant.

War thunder player loves to antagonize other players. The biggest proof that naval needs to be improved is the number of players who are playing this mode.
