also still no torpedo aiming marker in gunner sight.
Also the bug that reload of tubes starts after a given time - even when still fish present. reload cycle then prevents their launching. This affects only vessels, with both sided tubes. It started when GJ implemented the reload of single sided tubes (e.g. USS Barker or most cruisers) when they are empty. Now the aiming indicator shows green but no torpedo can launched as long as the reload is not completed. the only workaround is to fire all fish in a short time - which is also quite stupid.

Those aren’t even the worst bugs for torpedoes right now, in my opinion. Torpedoes haven’t generated wakes for a couple months now - at least since the last update if not the one before it. This makes dodging them in AB more difficult and dodging them in RB complete guesswork. That bug seems to get reintroduced to the game every year and usually takes months for them to fix.
SOYUZ is the king of the sea because he is the only one with 40kg TNT(in shell) and everyone else only has 20kg and that’s why he is the best. If Gaijin would reduce TNT to 20KG then everything would be fine. Please Gaijin reduce TNT to 20kg!! it is EASY. lets go GAIJIN :)

Nothing more fun than having to repeatedly fight the games systems in a firefight, especially when AI can constantly activate that “feature” by spamming you with HE.
Why even give us the option of using the old repair mechanics if its borked like this?
It only happens on first spawn. It’s obviously a bug.

So they intentionally lied when they told us we could keep using the old repair system. Typical. Bait and switch, into a lie.

Oh, that’s not even the worst one. I thought that maybe the report you posted was just a fluke where it didn’t have sufficient information or the bug manager didn’t read it, since there’s been a report for the breach repair with an “accepted” label out there for two months.

Hello. Thank you for your report. The developers have reviewed this in full. The mechanics of breach repair have always functioned like this, regardless of which damage control mechanic is selected. The breach repair is a part of general repairs.
Previously it was not as clear, as there were no special icon for breach repair. The general wrench was shown for both: repairs [7] and first phase of unwatering [8]. Now the icon of breach repair is separated.
While taking new breaches, the total breach repair time increases. Because you start to repair the newer ones too.
As such, this is not considered a bug.
But then, a comment was posted on the main report an hour ago and get a load of this:

Oh i mustve just missed that when i was making the post, as ive also kept checking that report out for any updates on the issue.
I dont rly understand what they are talking about though, because i know for sure that before the repair changes the pumping did NOT start by itself, hindering fire extinquishing constantly. Sure there might been a general wrench for some basic repairs but it did not affect other more important ones or increase their time.
And we certainly did NOT need to constantly fight the games mechanics to turn it off.

Whatever the cause, this situation (and others in naval) is completely unacceptable. Either they are lying, blatantly, OR they really have that low of an understanding of how live Naval matches worked before, and are working now. It is often meme’d but for real, do the devs actually play live naval battles, at all? And IF they don’t, they should really listen to and take very seriously the feedback from the naval players.
I would honestly give them a lot of respect if they simply said “bros, we really do not have ‘enough time’ to play live naval matches with enough regularity. Please give us feedback and reports so that we may focus on coding to make this mode as good as it can be 👍” I would really appreciate and respect a statement like that. But that would be a two way street. And right now, the street is completely closed. It isn’t even a one way street currently.
Whether it is intentional or not is almost irrelevant at this point. The result is incompetence with a side of gaslighting.

I think once again, they just did not review it beyond a glance. If you were to watch a video of the bug, it’s not super clear that the player is NOT activating the flooding repair manually. You would either have to read and actually comprehend what is being asked, OR play a battle using that repair system - neither of which appear to have been done. For the breach repair bug, all it takes is one match with the old damage control system to see it, but I doubt they tested anything on their own and instead got confused when they watched the video.
Quite honestly, I don’t think the devs themselves test any of the naval stuff outside of AB with the new repair system, and probably don’t join live matches at all. This would explain why we keep getting the regression bug involving invisible torpedo trails. Even if one of them happened to launch a torpedo in the game, they probably wouldn’t notice it’s invisible unless they were playing a naval RB match with incoming torpedoes.

Oh if you didn’t know, this 100% happens in AB too. I never play Naval RB, and the repair “bug” happens every match I play in NAB. I do not think the devs play live naval battles, at all. Like I wrote above, I would be fine with that. But that would require them to take us seriously. Especially when it is ALL of us saying the exact same bug/issue is occurring.

like, i literally stopped playing bluewater completely because of this, my naval gameplay is literally only farming events with coastal cheesing
